Our family recently returned from our first African safari, where we began with three nights at Old Mondoro. I can usually come up with at least constructive criticisms, but honestly have nothing but positive things to say about this camp and the wonderful people involved...More

We spent a magical 4 nights at Old Mondoro Bush Camp, overlooking the beautiful Lower Zambezi River - alive with Hippos, visiting elephants and buffalo. An intimate camp of 4 huts and a family hut, the accommodation was very comfortable and well located to give...More

Let me say at the outset that the Lower Zambezi can't compete with South Luangwa for wildlife sightings - you will see much more game in SLNP. What the LZNP offers is a more rounded holiday experience, dominated by the mighty Zambezi. Old Mondoro doesn't...More

I would like to know what the bathroom situation is. Is it outside the tent?

Thanks for your question. At Old Mondoro the toilet and washbasin are both inside, the shower and tub outside.
