A couple of blocks from the main square, this previous convent complex is lovely with small courtyards leading to the stunning double height rooms. forget about their meagre complimentary breakfast though, it's a waste of time and served al fresco. there are enough good eating places nearby.

Lovely hotel set in an old convent, very quirky and colorful. I suspect the room sizes and comfort vary significantly due to the setting of the hotel - a cluster of buildings linked by charming corridors and portals. We were in a room on a roof-top which was really lovely, basic amenities were all there, water, free wifi, spare blankets......

I was very pleased with the hotels accommodations. My room was cleaned daily and toiletries were restocked. Bottled water was supplied and restocked daily, which was very nice. I also had my own personal wifi connection in the room. The hotel was also located in the historic center and I was able to walk just about anywhere I needed to....

Comfortable hotel, located right next to the centre of historical downtown Queretaro. Great location for exploring the main sites. Very quiet rooms, ample free parking. Limited but ok breakfast continental buffet (also included in price). The hotel price was very good compared to the quality and location. Free Wifi. Nice open "hacienda" style area. We'd stay there again. Downside: Room...

Been to Queretaro numerous times & stayed in 2-5 star properties, but this was first visit to Quinta Santiago. A return visit would be totally dependent upon the rate. Would not return at their published rate of $125 for a standard - $200 for the suite we had. However, if we got the same $66 internet rate we found, then...

We ended up here when the Meson Aspeytia double booked their rooms and moved us out (Why we had to move and the others didn't I never learned). The rates at the Quinta were better, and their high speed internet was working (it wasn't at Aspeytia). The Quinta was slightly less well appointed, but very comfortable. A spartan breakfast (fruit,...

We had just one night in Queretaro and had trouble deciding on a place. Our first choice, la Casa de la Marquesa, was booked, so we chose the nearby Quinta Santiago. It was a good choice. It was very quiet, nicely appointed and close to everything (OK - a block further from the Plaza das Armas than the Casa). The...

I have been in the Hotel Qunita Santiago as I write this. What a great Hotel! Queretaro is spectacular - and The Hotel Quinta Santiago is a great choice for a long or short stay in this beautiful, clean, safe, lively and historic city. It is 2 blocks from anything you want to see and is as clean and modern...

My partner and I went to Queretaro for four days this spring, to check out the town and get a little r&r. We live in Guadalajara, so were are familiar with colonial-era buildings that have been converted into hotels. One often has to sacrifice comfort or modern conveniences for charm and that sense of history that comes from staying in...
