I went up to Hudson on a whim and caught sight of Hudson City Bnb. I booked a room that night and was greeted by Barry! The place was incredibly beautiful. The bed was in my room was so very comfortable. I had a private bathroom, too. Barry and I quickly hit it off and he made me so comfortable...

My friend and I were in Hudson for a seminar for four days. HCBB was one of the places recommended as a nice place to stay. I liked the idea of having breakfast included as well as being close to restaurants and the place where the seminar was happening. I am really glad we chose to go there. The house...

My partner and I had the best stay here! Barry was so kind and welcoming. Flying in to the States just a few days earlier, we were suffering from jet lag so we woke up late and missed the window for breakfast but Barry was very understanding and made us the most delicious waffles and fresh coffee. He put so...

When we pulled up to this eclectic B and B we weren't sure what to expect. Barry met us and we introduced ourselves, then he walked us to our room. By noon the next day, we had fallen in love with the home and made a new friend. Barry is a very interesting host. We talked for hours. He's also...

My wife and i have stayed at the Hudson City twice - there's a recommendation in itself - and I feel it necessary to compose a review to counter the highly uncomplimentary review now posted at the head of the comments. The house is definitely NOT all mod-cons, but is definitely charming and comfortable and most definitely NOT dirty. The...

We were looking forward to "quaint and historic" in our overnight stay here, but instead we got "rundown and dirty." I think a place should be renovated BEFORE it's open for business. My guess is that the owner opened up his home to rentals in the hope that he could make enough money to fix it up. That's just backwards....

My girlfriend and I stayed one night and absolutely loved it. It's a short walk from where most of the restaurants and shops are. The room was clean, comfy, and nice. At breakfast, I ate some of the finest eggs I've ever had.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hudson City B&B for a friend's wedding nearby. How lucky we are to have met the friendly and conscientious Barry, our attentive (but NOT overbearing) host. We have stayed at a lot of B&Bs and I have never had such a relaxing, comfortable stay. From the moment we walked through the door, it...

We were very happy with the accommodations. The room was very comfortable and included the little extras. Barry is a great host, he has varied interests and is keen on learning about you if you care to share. The coffee and omelets were delicious, wish we had tried the waffles because they looked wonderful. It was a beautiful wedding weekend,...

My husband and I had a wedding in Hudson, NY on Sunday of Labor Day weekend and decided to make it a 3-day mini vacation. While most of the guests stayed at accommodations suggested by the wedding couple, we decided to search out our own and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision. The Hudson City B&B is charming,...
