We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay with our small, well-behaved dog. Barry was very kind & accommodating. We had some great conversations & he suggested many great local destinations to visit during our stay. The long, traditional Main Street is easily within walking distance & hosts many antique shops & delicious restaurants. We love Hudson, NY & would love to...

My daughter and I highly recommend this charming Inn, where we were very comfortable and well cared for, for four days. The location is ideal, on a quiet street lined with lovely homes, near the River and picturesque train station, but also just a three block walk to the main street with excellent restaurants and shops. Breakfasts and travel information...

We have to thank Barry for making this stay enjoyable. Barry is manager, cook, host and general factotum. His suggestions for eating well were right on. The B&B itself is comfortable, sort of funky, like staying at your once-wealthy old aunt's, if you know what I mean. Our large room was bright, cheerful, tho' the windows were problematical--to open them...

Spent a lovely weekend at this B&B in May and we loved it!! Barry was a great host and very accommodating. Breakfast waffles were amazing!! In general, Hudson was a very nice pet loving town and we plan on visiting again during summer.

My wife and I recently traveled to Hudson for a relaxing getaway. We couldn't have been more pleased with the kindness and hospitality that Barry showed us at his B&B. When we arrived, he welcomed us with warm tea and cookies after a long drive. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and uniquely furnished. The house itself was large and...

I left Barry's this morning, fuelled by his delicious French toast with cinnamon & applesauce after 4 wonderful days. Travelling solo from Sydney, Australia to Hudson for a friend's wedding, I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Comfortable, clean, charming house & rooms and Barry is a wonderful host. A friend stayed in another more expensive place...

This was my first time staying at a b&b, and it was a great experience. The b&b is conveniently located near Warren street, which has restaurants, antique shops, furniture shops, spas, etc. Barry was very accommodating. I had the opportunity to stay in two different rooms. I originally requested a room with a tub. The room was under construction, so...

I'm so honored and thrilled that I could make your first B&B experience a good one. My apologies for the minor repairs taking place during your stay. I really appreciate your understanding and I'm glad you enjoyed the two other rooms so much. You're really too kind about the breakfast. It's my pleasure. Please keep me in mind should you...

Barry has taken his "city chic" (he is originally from the West Village, NYC) and turned it "country cool." Hudson City B&B is eclectic, clean, comfortable and classy (without being pretentious.) The bedrooms have high quality sheets, the living room is filled with super comfy overstuffed furniture and interesting books, and there is a big round beautifully decorated dining table...

Barry hits just the right note between being welcoming and giving his guests the space they need! And his two handsome sons even provided entertainment and added to the family atmosphere. The rooms and baths are clean and well-stocked.....the space is quiet, historic, and very close to the charming downtown. And of course the breakfasts are amazing - with great...
