OMG My husband and son in law could not stop raving about the Xenia Resort Motel in Jewett / Hunter NY State They went with 11 other friends and were blown away at everything offered at this little piece of heaven in NY It is a quant rustic log cabin kind of resort with so much to offer. The rooms are a beautiful knotty pine country feel. The cleanliness is truly next to Godliness. The owners are the kindest and most accommodating people you could ever meet. The family is involved in running this amazing place. When you look out the back deck there is a creek that is so pretty and the sound of it at night makes you sleep like a baby. Playing pool or swimming in the creek or just sitting outside and admiring the country views is more than enough. The food, OMG is outstanding. It is all homemade, even the bread and is ethnic European and you really can appreciate what local home grown really means. You can eat to your hearts content because the servings are either family style or buffet. What can I say but thank you Oxsana and husband for making this a very eventful few days for my husband and his friends. If there were more than 5 stars, you would deserve 100.

This review is for their restaurant which is open to the public. We dined there on a Saturday night. Dinner is served buffet style. Included salad, borscht, home made bread, Russian salad, vegetables, slow cooked pork, pierogis, and finishes with homemade desert and coffee. Restaurant was spotless, service was excellent and you can byob. If you would like a real Ukrainian meal, This is the place to go.

My friend and, I really enjoyed our stay! We stayed the last weekend of February. Check-in was very easy. The women who helped us was very nice. She showed us to our room, and explained what they had to offer on the property. We got the suite. The room was very clean!! It even had our own private, full sized hot tub. Along with this, it had a private deck. The view from our room was great. There is a river that runs right behind. Breakfast was $10 a day 8am-10am. Had a good breakfast overall. I am very happy with my stay. I really do look forward to returning this summer to see what else this place has to offer. Solid girls weekend away.

I have known this resort and have been to it many times since the year of 2009. That hotel has become for me almost like feel-like-at-home place where you are accommodated with the great level of care. The hotel is extremely cozy, situated right in the mountains right next to a mountain river. It is only 10-15 minutes drive from a Hunter Mountain and other ski resorts, and you can purchase discounted tickets for those ski resorts right in the hotel. The hotel offers variety of rooms and services including the luxury suite with a Jacuzzi; however, the main perk of the exceptional stay in the hotel is the food, which IS included with a stay Prepare to be greeted with an extremely tasty three course meal of the Eastern European food in the cozy dining area, which also has tennis and a pool tables. The entire hotel is decorated with various works made out of wood, village life artifacts and gives a feel of a genuine woods cabin Also, add to everything an East European hospitality, very nice staff, and kind and welcoming owners Oksana and Oleg Whoever who knows what the classical Eastern European mountain getaway resort is will enjoy this hotel and will want to come back

My husband and I stay here every year for the country music festival. The owners are delightful, the resort is clean, they serve a wonderful breakfast, decor is rustic (which we like), peaceful surroundings and my husband had a massage (which, in itself, is worth it). Great value.

We attended a wedding here and had a great time. It is a simple family hotel, set on a lovely river. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff and owners are so lovely. They serve Ukrainian food and it is simply delicious. The beet and carrot salads were pleasantly vinegary. The blintzes at breakfast were fantastic. The breads are homemade. Potato salad was Eastern European style and delicious. The borscht was simply fantastic. All in all, this is a simple and homey family place that was very enjoyable. You can sit by the river and enter it to wade or swim, but it is not really a beach per se.

My wife and I have been coming here faithfully for the last 17 years, and if you’ve fully read this review - you can understand why! Xenia is a truly unforgettable place! It is a family-run and operated resort nestled in Hunter Mountain, and is great for both summer and winter getaways. Not only does it boast breathtaking views, but its real hidden gem is definitely the natural mountain creeks that flows behind the property. Come in the summer and you’ll be able to simply walk out of your room, down the stairs, and go swimming in crisp clean mountain water! Both of the owners, Oksana and Oleg and all of the support staff truly go out of their way to make sure guests feels comfortable and at home. The rooms are well maintained, linens are always fresh and rooms are always clean. If that isn’t enough, Xenia has a fully functioning dining room! Everything is cooked fresh in-house... every morning with an array of options for all types of diets. Very nice place to relax and rejuvenate. Looking forward to come back... Alex and Maryana, NJ
