We love this place. We have stayed here before for a relaxing getaway. The Inn is absolutely amazing. Column made us feel right at home. The food delicious and plentiful. We do not have one single complaint. Highly recommend staying here. Can't wait to go back again.

My husband and I have spent 3 of the last 5 Christmas Eves enjoying the most wonderful holiday dinners in the warm and intimate restaurant at Jedediah Hawkins restaurant. Each meal has been a special experience between the excellent food, the attentive staff and the wonderful surroundings in this renovated sea captains house on the North Fork of Long Island....

We've wanted to eat here for a while and had the opportunity the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The building is beautiful and the rooms within are gorgeous - intimate and cozy. Loved it. Two stars for that. We were a group of 8 and sat in the vey pretty glassed-in room. Glad we were seated there. Service was fine but the...

This is the second time we have stayed at Jedediah Hawkins, and it keeps getting better each time. The setting is beautiful on 22 acres of land. We stayed in the Cider room. Which was very comfortable and luxurious with a fireplace. Staff is gracious and make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is not be missed, 3-4 courses, absolutely delicious,...

This inn has only 5 rooms, so we were unable to stay there, but we had dinner in the restaurant. The house is a living antique, an old narrow building with beautiful grounds, gardens, and a fountain surrounding, in the North Fork of Long Island. The dinner was excellent and not overpriced, and the Speakeasy Bar brings back the illicit...

Visited this place for dinner on a Saturday night. It was a full moon when we arrived and it gave the place a spooky feel (see the photo). The inside is magnificent. Fireplaces, comfortable chairs and couches for lounging while waiting for your table. Tiny bar, but nicely decorated with class. Expensive - $17.+ for a brandy. Wine at $17...

The service was very attentive, the atmosphere unique, the food was fresh, different and delicious. We were told all the produce was from local farm stands and the cheese was from a Long Island Goat Farm. HIghly recommended evening out in the summer, where you can sit outside under big umbrellas on the side patio of this Inn. If you...

Let me start by saying I have been eagerly looking forward to this overnight for a long time. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a gentleman at the front desk. He brought us to the Cocoa Room. As we were unpacking, we realized the room was not completely cleaned. Hairs in the bathroom, rugs not vacuumed. I told the...

A wonderful hotel and restaurant. Staying there overnight qualifies as an experience: you feel like stepping back in time, yet with all modern-day amenities and with tremendous attention to detail. Dinner and breakfast are just great. The staff are fantastic, going out of their way to anticipate your needs; and the owner treats you like family.
