Charming bed and breakfast, charming hosts and delicious breakfast ( including the coffee!). It's in a perfect location for access to several trails and the small staff at inn was very helpful with guiding us to an appropriate plan for our day hike. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Very friendly guests and several were repeat guests. Will definitely...

Absolutely the best part of our trip was staying at this B&B! Our room was very clean and the atmosphere was so welcoming it felt like we were home (although we had traveled clear across the US). The owners were so welcoming and the homemade breakfast was absolutely amazing. The details that went into this B&B were so impressive and...

I have been staying at this Inn for years now. A very relaxed atmosphere in a large cozy old house. The owners, George and Laurie, are the best. After many years some of my immediate family have stayed there, my wife, son, daughter-in-law and 8 year old grandson. They all agree that this is the place to stay when in...

What a great B&B, room and bath were immaculate, decor all beautiful antiques, breakfast delicious and healthy. Easy wifi and no TV which is a big plus. The owner George is a great guy, engaging and fun to visit with. One of living rooms has a beautiful working granite fireplace. As aspiring 46ers this will be our base camp.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Beede Suite which was very comfortable and spacious. The lodge had a wonderful charm and the hosts were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable of all possible local activities and places. Every walk they suggested was amazing. Breakfast was extensive and delicious - fresh fruits, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, eggs and the unbelievable home made...

This was our first time in the Adirondacks. We were attending a skating event in Lake Placid (about 25 minutes away). We loved this bed & breakfast! We were in room #3. The beds were super comfortable and it had its own private bathroom. Laurie and George the Innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of...

Four of us girls stayed at the lodge for two nights. It is a charming old house with comfortable settings. The bathroom is very clean. We enjoyed the hot breakfast, strong coffee, a variety of organic tea, and fresh fruits. The owner George went out of his way to attend our needs. He is also very knowledgeable of the local...

We come to the Adirondacks a lot - and usually stay in Lake Placid. But we like hiking in the Keen valley area. Unable to get a room in Placid last weekend - we thought we'd try the Lodge. What a treat. We got the big room at the back - which gave us plenty of room for our teen...

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks earlier this month. We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay. George, the owner and innkeeper, was warm and friendly and gave us many great suggestions for hiking, biking, kayaking and restaurants. Shelly, on staff, was very friendly and always willing to be of service. Our room, #3, was comfortable and...

“We liked having space, so the one on the first floor that lets out onto the porch was our pick--had a sitting area and a bedroom along with the bathroom, and the bathroom seemed bigger than some of the others--but you really need to go through all of the available rooms to pick your fave--pluses to all of them really :)”
