The hotel is in the Todra Gorge, some kilometers away from its crowded section. The main building is a bit fortress-like, which makes the hotel rooms definitely non-standard and also rather romantic. The staff is very friendly with an easy going attitude that contributes to the general feeling of total relax. The food is OK as well.

Staying in a "cave room" in this amazing location is certainly something different. Staff were great and it is very relaxing sitting on the balcony with a coffee and watching the sunset/sunrise. There are a few nearby hikes - though the lack of signs make it hard to follow the trail. Definitely worth staying in the Gorge for a night

The location provides many opportunities for hiking and exploring the area. The staff was very friendly, and the food (we enjoyed breakfasts and dinners) was very good. We booked the Tower Room for our family of 4, which worked well. The place is in the midst of some exterior stone work, which gave it a look of being under construction,...

Set on its own in the gorge with great views and very well designed eco friendly everything. The Cave rooms are great as you feel you have gone back to prehistoric living but with modern comforts! Great staff, excellent food and try to get them to give you a drum concert when dinner is over. Just a charming place. If...

Le festival, a great place in a wonderful canyon. The scenery is simply impressive. The cave double room offered us an authentic experience and feeling of how it might be like sleeping in a cave. The food served was average (ok) and the cave was adequate too. The only downside is that it was very cold inside the cave. The...

This was one of our favorite stops on our trip to Morocco. We stayed in one of the cave rooms, which was just amazing. We were there during one of the coldest weeks on record, but our cave room was the perfect temperature and there were lots of warm blankets on the bed. My husband's birthday happened to fall during...

We booked le Festival with high expectations but found it to be one of the less memorable stays on our trip. Similar to other reviewers, we found the rooms very cold. The common area was unimpressive, the food average, and the staff underwhelming. The area and canyon are beautiful-we had an incredible 3 hour hike, but the auberge just so-so.

I only stayed one night in Auberge le Festival. This inn has a lot of potential... but I also reckon (like another reviewer before me) that it's too cold in winter. There was a gas stove in the room but I had to turn it off and open all windows because I was feeling dizzy from the gas odor. Staff...

The hotel is very nice, so characteristic, in the middle of the Gorge but I do ot recommend it in winter because it is very cold! Rooms are ok, but inside just a gas stove you have to switch off when you sleep with the temperature outside going under the zero C. This hotel is simple but charmy, staff is...

Our stay at Auberge Le Festival was fantastic. Reading the description we thought it might be hard to get to. It was no problem at all. You drive into the beautiful gorge on a paved road that runs alongside the dry creek bed. We saw goat herders and locals and great scenery. The hotel is wonderful. The staff, the rooms...
