Namushasha is not one of those places that you accidentally visit......you plan your trip......you book your trip and them you visit Namushasha for a holiday that you will not forget. The accommodation overlooking the Kwando River will be something that you will not forget. All the facilities are well maintained and the staff was quite friendly and helpful. I have...

Good facilities and layout. Friendly staff and excellent food and wine. The only disappointment was the coffee from the bar, thecoffee maker could only produce luke warm coffee. The coffee maker in the bungalow was a bonus, although for an environmentally aware group, it might be better to utilize something else than coffee pods as they are not environmentally friendly....

There were ground squirrels eating at the pumpkin seeds served at breakfast table. They were not discouraged. The internet ( which we required because we were on a work trip) did not work for most of the time. The staff was not particularly helpful in this regard. Worse however was the insects in our beds, causing us scabies.

Great game drives in the Babwata National Park and boat trips on the Kwando river. One of the best addresses in the Caprivi / Zambesi Region in Namibia. Abandoned bird and wild life. Hippos encounter is a life time experience.

When we showed up at the reception we were kindly greeted by the staff, until they recognized that we're only campingtourists. From then on nobody was really eager to help us. Neither informing us about possible activities, nor helping us when we wanted to buy something in the shop. After asking in the afternoon, they allowed us to eat in...

Our experience with great service started before we arrived. Due to heavy rains we got stuck in the Mudumu Game Reserve on route to the lodge. Lance the manager arranged for us to be towed out by a park ranger. The boat trips on the Kwando provided very good birding. An incredible highlight was encountering a herd of about 500...

Our 4 rooms were dirty, the beds were not clean, the lodge needs renovation and the prices are way too high for the bad quality. It seemed that this lodge is not properly managed for quite some time. We have staid in a few Gondwana lodges up to now and were always happy, but Namushasha was a big disappointment.

Wonderful lodge in exquisite nature, room with big balcony overlooking the river and wetlands. Wonderful bird life. The boat cruise is highly recommended. Food is good, not as much choice as other Godwana lodges. Friendly staff. Peaceful and restful holiday experience.
