My wife and I stayed during our New England trip, and greatly enjoyed ourselves. Aggie is a great lady, who sees to your needs, and cooks a good breakfast. The accommodations are good, clean and comfortable. The location is near the downtown Lake Placid area, and walkable, if you're so inclined. A really cute B&B.

The Winterberry Bed And Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. It is one of the lowest priced B&B in Lake Placid and because of that I was initially worried about the quality. However, it ended up being an amazing gem just located off the main rd. Initially built in 1848, the present owner updated the home and turned into a...

My husband and I wanted to get away for his birthday after the Christmas holiday. We enjoy the Lake Placid area and decided to head to the "north country" for a few days. We discovered Agnes and booked a 3 night stay. The room was cozy and very clean. The breakfasts were great, something different every day. There was a...

Beautiful interior design – excellently chosen furniture, beautiful and practical, very comfortable bedding, great breakfast, perfect hospitality. For dinner, loads of great restaurants minutes away. And, of course, spectacular scenery all around.

My husband and I just stayed at Winterberry for a few days of hiking. We loved the casual nature of the B&B, the warm reception by our host, and the comfortable home. Our room was large and very comfortable. We loved the ability to open our windows as the weather was crisp and cool at night. The breakfasts were delicious...

Quaint, welcoming, comfortable and great conversation ;) Staying with Aggie was like visiting family, except she made a great breakfast for us... Fresh fruit eggs or pancakes, fresh scones, OJ, tea, coffee... Better than home and better than a resto! No muss, no fuss!!

Amazing breakfasts prepared by Aggie, warm and homey atmosphere with a very friendly dog, whom we enjoyed immensely. Luke LOVED chasing his tennis ball! Loved the location.....easy walking distance to historical downtown Lake Placid. Would love to re-visit someday.

The Winterberry B&B is off the beaten track and a very comfortable place to call home while visiting Lake Placid. The inn is lovely and Aggie is a great hostess, making breakfasts that were not only delicious but abundant.

Aggie is a wonderful hostess. We absolutely loved staying here for 4 days. Our room was a super cool "tree house" feel with all the ivy leaves covering our windows. The ceiling fan felt so nice and cool. Her breakfasts meals were outstanding and we just couldn't get enough. We liked the fact that her B&B was not on Main...

Wonderful B&B just near enough to town to be part of the action & yet far enough away for peace & quiet. It was really hot while we were there...Aggie gave us the choice of rooms, but recommended the coolest/quietest for which we were grateful! Aggie gave us lots of tips of where to go & what to see...the boat...
