We stayed here very last minute for a weekend of snowshoeing and hiking in the Adirondacks. Our original plans fell through, so we needed to find a place to stay for two nights on very short notice (at a reasonable price!). The Woodlake Inn was just that! Yes, the rooms are outdated and there doesn't seem to be any soundproofing,...

first the good - lower priced than most other hotels in town, walking distance to the tows main strip, clean warm rooms (winter stay) now the not so good. rough parking, no sound proofing between rooms and floors. Stayed on the 1st floor and the people above us were yelling and jumping around until 2am, we could hear every word....

This Inn is just few mins away from Olympic Center and mirror lake. It is possible to walk there. The beddings are comfortable but the overall furnishing looks old. The curtains are thin so they let the morning sun in. Could be issue with some people who wakes up with sunrise. The second floor has chairs on the balcony/hallway. So...

First I will start with the one good thing this place is about a 5-10 miute walk from downtown which is very convenient. I am usually not too picky but this place had some serious issues that really need to be fixed. The first problem I had was that the inside of the shower curtain was completely covered in black...

We were turned off upon entering the office, which is part of the owner's home. You are hit immediately with the smell of strong stale cigarette smoke. Our room was on the end of the motel structure, and thus we had the stairs to the upper level next to us. The room, although relatively clean, was an absolute time warp....

If you want a clean room fresh towels every day and a comfy bed to sleep in that is reasonable....this is the inn for you. The decor is dated the parking is tight but adequate....but hey it was cheap and clean. We have no complaints after our 6 day stay. Everyone was nice and accomidating. It is a two story...

Room was clean, bathroom was clean. Very outdated decor, the paneling could go or at least be painted. As another reveiwer wrote there were no covers on the pillow, just regular pillow cases as well as the beds could use mattress pads. Overall the room was clean and for the price it was a great deal. Too many places use...

Upon arrival a coworker was complaining about the smell in her room. I offered to change rooms as it smelt like a dog was in the room. After a while of this odor I went and purchased air fresheners to mask the odor. This helped. I also had no control of the heat as the room was about 90 degrees...

We stayed one night in that well maintained motel. Very clean. When you open the door, you have wood smell has if the hotel was brend new. Small kitchenette, fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave oven, coffee machine and toaster. The room is spacious. About 2 minute walk from downtown.

Nice motel in the village. Offset from the road so street noises are not noticeable. We had a second floor double room. The stairs and balcony are made of wood timbers and the shingle is wood. Nice touch. The room was bigger than expected. Two double beds, desk, table & chairs, TV & coffee maker and chairs on the balcony....
