This resort is beautiful. No rooms were available before the 4pm check in. Not a big deal the grounds are nice and you can walk around to see everything. We ate at Kanu for lunch while waiting. The waitstaff was not overly friendly and the food was not great for being a 4/5 star resort. I would have expected much...

Just read the most recent review regarding the poor restaurant experience and I can vouch for that! I booked this luxury four star lodge for my daughter's honeymoon that unfortunately dissolved into a nitemare experience. It began by the couple not having the correct keys , stuck in elevator, took over 45 minutes to get checked in and after driving...

Upon arriving to have restaurant we were not greeted when we walked in. They seemed to be understaffed as their was no bartender or hostess when we entered. We waited until a server saw us and she said we could sit anywhere. After we sat a waitress came over to tell us that the cocktail menu was not available and...

Staff are friendly and accommodating, particularly in the housekeeping, front desk, and luggage handling. Amenities extraordinary at any time of year. Summer access to Lake Placid. Winter, especially Thanksgiving to Christmas is truly magical at this hotel. Amazing trees, lights and decorations. Beautiful mountain setting.

Our previous stay in Lake Placid was at Mirror Lake Inn but this place Surpasses Mirror Lake in both Service , Rooms and Amenities. Beautiful Xmas Treed Decorations everywhere and such a warm welcoming and festive environment. Both our kids 3 and 6 years had the times of their lives with the daily activity list being their top priority. We...

We've been here a few times, but this is the first time in a few years. When we arrived we were met by a lackluster greeting at the valet. In fact I ended up moving my own bags to my room as the assistance seemed non existent & unwilling. This is different to last time. Now, These are all first...

Lodge is gorgeous. Breakfast buffet was average at best. Rooms extremely dirty. Hair in tub, dirty floors, food left in sink, dust everywhere. Same experience in two different rooms. Long waits for shuttle and valet. Would not recommend or return.

For sure a special occasion resort. Very romantic, wonderful rooms. Restaurants on site, very cozy sitting areas throughout the property. No need to ever even leave the resort once you check in. AWESOME

One of the best getaways ever. Never seen anything like it. The room was awesome (and clean). My favorite thing was definitely the heated floors in the bathroom. Loved the bowling alley, the movie theater, game room, and especially the s'mores station. We went for a 1-night stay but due to a snow storm we had to stay another night...

Lovely large well appointed suite. Hpousekeeping did an amazing job, twice a day, of cleaning up after our messy teenage boys! Fireplace, washer and dryer, two bathrooms, down pillows and comforter and yummy choco chip cookies at turn down-who could ask for more!
