Busoga House is a wonderful place to stay! I arrived in Jinja alone and didn't know a thing about the town. But very quickly felt like I was home at Busoga house - It is safe, comfortable and has a friendly atmosphere. The house is clean, staff are lovely and other guests are generally very respectful of the communal space....

Nice, clean rooms. Good breakfast and excellent customer service. We spent two months travelling through Africa and this was certainly one of the best places we stayed. Extremely helpful staff that was always at hand to help. The rooms are okay and sufficient, nothing amazing but has everything you need.

I stayed at Busoga Trust Guest House this past summer from May through June. It was a wonderful experience. The house was always clean, the kitchen was very convenient, the rooms were comfortable, and all at an affordable price. Also, great location and not a far walk/boda away from town. Highly highly recommended!

The Busoga guest house is a great place to stay. It is about 20 minutes walk to Main street where all the shops and cafe's are or just 1,000 shillings by boda. It feels safe and secure and the staff are all lovely. It is kept very clean and tidy and the kitchen and communal areas are nice. I had...

The Busoga Trust Guesthouse is a really fantastic place to stay in Jinja. As soon as you walk in the door you realise that this is a homely, friendly and relaxing place. The set-up is great, and includes a large living/dining room, kitchen, veranda, and a beautiful (and very lovingly tended!!) garden. A lot of effort has been put into...

Thanks for the lovely review. It was a pleasure having you stay and the only problem was that your stay was too short. Thanks for sending your friends from Kampala and we look forward to meeting you again soon!

Only just found you on trip advisor or would have posted earlier. Felt instantly at home and welcomed by all. Great hosts and pets, dogs Frank and Gulu and a cat called Greg who seems to have a reputation as a bad guy but I loved him as he is the only cat I haven't been allergic to! Great set...

The first place we (myself and my father) stayed on our first trip to Uganda. We found it friendly, welcoming, safe, good facilities, comfortable rooms, conveniently close to Jinga town/shops etc, and very very good value for money - exactly what we needed. We hope to come back again sometime! :)

Whether here for a few days or a few weeks, Busoga Trust Guest HOme is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is quite homey. I stayed there for 3 months and made especially good use of the kitchen, wifi, and living room. With new visitors coming in and out, it's lively, yet...

Spent the weekend in Jinja staying at the Busoga Trust Guest House. The accommodation was very basic, very clean and Annette, the housekeeper, was very welcoming. Safe parking. A good place to stay for those on a budget. For longer term guest the use of the well appointed kitchen, with fridge, is a big plus.

“the mosque may wake you at 5 am, so choose a room in the back of the courtyard if this will bother you, security was good, the from rooms overlook the lovely garden, so its noise over beauty!”

“There are rooms of all sizes so make sure you know your group size before booking. If in doubt they can book you additional rooms in the (more expensive and less friendly) Travel hotel up the road, but it'd be better to get everyone into the guesthouse.”

“Prices figure largely in this as the nicest, biggest, private rooms on the 1st floor cost a little more (but from my brief glimpse are well worth it) but dorm wise, all were very much the same with equally good facilities. But if you're staying out back the furthest room is by far the coolest (temperature wise) and has a desk and chair for working, but the one next door has a bigger bed (which i needed) and more room. All rooms are equally quiet (if you ignore the call to prayer which you'll hear wherever you are in East Africa).”
