The Inn is charming herritage house renovated and decorated to offer a traveler all amenities that a modern house would. The owners are a lovely couple with two beautiful children that were able to joun in the morning making the stay very pleasant and almost like with a family of friends.
Being the way they are, thw family attracts nice peoole to stay so mornings are festive with guests of different vackground but all interedting nice people. All together a very pleasant stay.
House is large and there is no noise polution room to room. One does not need to walk carefully not to wake up anybody as walls are thick and isolation is great.
Breakfst is fantastic, just like the owners snd their beautiful big house.
Hughly recommendable even for people like oursrlves never using B&B.

I was in need of a room for the week I was in town for the All Star Village boys baseball tournament and came across this amazing B&B. Perfect location for Village and Cooperstown without being in the hustle of it all. Cute rooms, quiet, outstanding owners, delicious breakfast, plenty parking. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Stayed here during the recent family weekend at Suny Oneonta. Could not have been more pleased with our stay. Dave and Lori are great hosts and just nice down to earth people. They care about the Inn and it shows. I could go on, but suffice to stay, you'll love it.

We stayed at this beautiful and quiet B&B for 3 nights and it was so relaxing. Awesome breakfasts each morning Matt. Thank you to you and your wife Cameron for your amazing hospitality. You have a beautiful family. We'll see you on September 20th for family weekend. We're looking forward to our next visit. The morning you made Eggs Benedict my wife and I loved them but unfortunately my son doesn't eat that and since he was only staying one night and moving into his dorm that day you made what he loves for breakfast, pancakes. He really appreciated it. That's customer service!! We were impressed. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfy.

My husband and I stayed in this place overnight for our son's Family weekend at SUNY ONEONTA. The place is clean and the "old world charm" of this beautiful 200 year old house has been wonderfully restored by Lori and Dave, owners. They put in a great deal of effort in restoring this magnificent place as well as in making our stay comfortable like being in our own home. Breakfast was included and they were generous with everything...from goodies to clean towels in the room. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again for our next family event at the college.

Just spent two nights at this lovely establishment and am about to book a return visit. We were just looking for a place close to Oneonta for a college drop-off, and this was suggested by multiple booking sites. We love B&Bs, so figured we'd give it a try, even though it meant sharing a room with our college student on the first night. From the time we booked, Lori provided excellent, personalized service. On her recommendation, we booked the Lavender Room, which had a very comfortable king bed, plus a rollaway. When we needed to receive a large package before our stay, she graciously agreed to hold it for us. And, once we arrived, the real hospitality began. From a personalized welcome tour, to thoughtful advice about dining in town, to custom-made breakfast, we felt like family more than guests. And, spending time on the front porch picnicking by the brook on our last evening, we were delighted to be joined by both Dave and Lori for a lovely conversation. We look forward to many more visits when we are in the area!

My son was participating in the tournaments in Cooperstown so I needed a place to stay. The local hotels really charge a lot this time of year, especially for a single parent on a tight budget. While researching accommodations I found Brookside Inn At Laurens and was very pleased with the prices quoted over the phone so I booked immediately. Upon arrival I knew I had made the right choice. I was greeted by the owner Lori who was busy talking to other guests that too had just arrived but she stopped and introduced us to each other, I could already feel such a warm, friendly atmosphere. Lori gave me the tour of the downstairs first, showing me the snack-candy bar ( open 24 hours ) located in the dining area. There's a Keurig coffee maker to use when the kitchen is closed, pastries, cookies, cupcakes and even a movie time popcorn machine with freshly popped popcorn anytime you want. I chose the room with a twin bed and I was very comfortable. Air conditioning, ceiling fan, tv, wifi, a small refrigerator with complimentary bottled water, complimentary wine and chocolates. My first Morning started great with the wonderful smells of freshly brewing coffee & bacon wafting up the stairs. Breakfast was prepared by Lori's husband/Co-owner Dave, a super nice man. Dave's culinary skills did not disappoint! Yogurt parfaits, muffins, bacon, sausage, eggs, home fries, toast, juices, fresh fruit. ( next day blueberry pancakes ) The Inn was fully booked and Lori said some guests were visiting for a concert, others were traveling for an opera. The location is great for nearby attractions or events. My son was able to take a break from his tournament so I asked Lori & Dave if I might bring him and his friend for a visit and they were so accommodating. It was great bringing the boys there for some down time. There are plenty of games to play and the boys loved that Lori & Dave offered to let them help themselves to the snack area!! I really do wish I lived closer to Laurens because I'd definitely love to visit Lori & Dave often. Their hospitality is one I will never forget. Thank you so much for such a positive and wonderful experience.

This past weekend was my third stay at this B&B and I look forward to many more stays. Dave and Lori are very hospitable and make you feel like one of the family. Every room is meticulously decorated and very comfortable. Throughout this B&B there is a sitting area for every mood. The breakfast buffet was delicious and no one walks away hungry. The Village of Laurens is the perfect setting for a getaway from it all yet you're minutes away from Oneonta and Cooperstown. I would highly recommend this B&B for it's location, comfort, cleanliness and the welcoming warmth of your hosts, Dave and Lori.
