My girlfriend and I came to the Lazy Pond in July for a night away from our summer job here in the Catskills. We were blown away with the design of the grounds. We were booked in a log cabin room and had it to ourselves. The cabin was beautiful inside and we felt like we were at our own...

Attended a concert at Bethel Woods & found this charming B&B in Liberty. Our room was spotless & welcoming. Jeanne welcomes you in the morning with a FULL breakfast. The dining area is both inside & out & overlooks the meticulous landscaping & gardens. Although it was only one night, it was memorable!

Selected this B&B at the last minute based on the pictures and reviews. We were very impressed with the grounds, landscaping, welcoming and friendliness of the staff. The room was big and had everything we were expecting and more. My 10 year old daughter loved running around the grounds, pond and all the beautiful landspace. Breakfast was lovely in the...

I also an surprised at some of the good reviews. This place is very over-priced for what you get. Our room had none of the charm you expect to find in a B&B. For example, the chairs in the room were outdoor plastic chairs. To be fair, the grounds are beautiful and the breakfasts were good but they did not...

I would like to thank you for your review and would like to apologize for not being up to your standards. We are changing many things here this year (including the chairs) to make it more up to date and accommodating for our guests. I would like to invite you back when we are done (fall of 2015) as our...

I'm usually a very positive reviewer, but I'm a little shocked by all the positive reviews here. Yes, the people are nice (although we were greeted by a sign to call a cell phone, not a person); and yes, everything was very clean. But the rooms across the street had all the charm and ambiance of a Motel 6 at...

We Spent two nights at Lazy Pond & were delighted to find a well organized, very clean place in close proximity to Bethel Woods etc. We stayed in a room across the street from the main lodge which was small but very clean and fine for us. Plenty of hot water - everything worked fine. Beds were comfortable & extra...

Quite, clean, friendly and relaxed evening spent at Lazy Pond. We attended a consert in Bethel Woods which was a short 15 minute ride. After returning we shared a wonderful evening at the fire pit with staff and family . The performers from Bethel Woods happend to be staying there and they joined us singing and playing songs. Memorable evening....

We stayed at this B and B on a Thursday night and attended a concert at Bethel Woods. The location was little farther away then we had thought, however we did not mind. The property is beautiful and very spacious. Plenty of areas to relax-there are hammocks, rockers, a tire swing, a koi pond, a gazebo, and a nice common...

With Sullivan County roots and no longer a home base in the area, Lazy Pond is a welcome oasis that feels like home each time we return. By far the best choice in the area, for people like us, folks visiting Bethel Woods, or some other area activity, Jean and family's home cooking, true caring, and kind conversation is always...
