My wife and I found Rosehill B&B through TripAdvisor, and we thank everyone involved. We were in town to celebrate Christmas with family, and we took the larger bedroom suite for several nights. This room is very comfy with nice storage and an en-suite bathroom. We slept well and our hostess, Lisbeth, was ready in the morning to provide us...

Lisbeth runs a beautiful little B&B out of her lovely appointed Tudor home. There are only 2 rooms available -- (1) the master with an en suite bathroom, and (2) a slightly smaller bedroom with exclusive use of the hall bathroom immediately adjacent to the bedroom. Staying at Rosehill is more like staying with a favorite aunt than at a...

Rosehill B&B is a stately old Tudor home in an elegant older neighborhood. Everything you could ask for in a small and comfy B&B. Lisbeth and her two spaniels are lovely. Everything you need is made readily available, and many small details make it even more lovely. A flashlight by my bed, water and glasses, tv, AC, breakfast, comfy sitting...

I would highly recommend Rose Hill B &B. The large Tudor home is more than quaint. As soon as you walk through the big front door, you look to the left and see white built-in book cases, and then look to the right and you see the well appointed living room and sun room. And you can't help but immediately...

My wife and I stayed at the Rosehill B&B for two nights. The B&B is in an older Tudor house in a very nice, very quiet neighborhood. Parking is available right out front. The house is spotlessly clean; our room (the room without the en suite bathroom) was large and airy, and the bed was very comfortable. The (private) bathroom...

My husband, our son, our son's girlfriend, and I recently stayed four-nights at this lovely B&B. Our host, Lisbeth, was pleasant, gracious, and helpful. When making inquiries and reservations over the last few months, she promptly returned all telephone calls and emails. The house is a Victorian charmer, with a slate roof, bright/airy rooms, and lovely grounds. Situated in a...

I stayed one night at Rosehill. I did not meet Lisbeth due to her schedule and mine though I might add she is pleasant to speak with. The bedrooms are on the second floor, and only the master bedroom has a private bathroom, while the second bedroom which I did not see, has a bathroom in the hall. I found...

We were in town for a wedding, and found this wonderful B & B, in a big old Victorian home in a residential neighborhood just north of NYC, perfect for our needs. Our rooms were very spacious, and nicely appointed, and the landlady could not have been more helpful. Though we could have driven in, to get into The City,...

Our 2nd time at this lovely home. Lizbeth is gracious and helpful. Nice continental breakfast. Quiet and tranquil, comfortable bed and pillows, and overall very clean. Would definitely return. Also, very good value.

Very, warm and welcoming home. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms wonderfully old style. Breakfast was scrumptious. House was immaculate. As many others noted it is a great place to stay and extremely affordable. The only down side we had was the mattress. Now this could have been because we both could loose some weight, but, I felt it...

“Though it was nice to have, it really isn't necessary to pay the extra for the Master Bedroom with en suite bath. The shared bath / WC is only for occupants of two double rooms -- of the two, the one over-looking the front entrance is the larger.”

“Ask for private bath. On our previous stay the bathroom was outside our room , but still seemed private. This time we had the room with private bath.”

“Both room are nice. The one with the king has a private bathroom. The one with the queen/double has a bathroom just outside the bedroom door. That bathroom is exclusively for the guest in the double/queen room.”
