I stayed at this hotel with a large group. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. I went in with realistic expectations and they were exceeded. So, here's my experience: Room I was a single traveler so the room was perfect for me. The bed looked rather small and if I had my husband with me we would have been cramped.... More

Took my family for a short brake and I was recommended to book at the Ilomba. The place is nice although far from everything in Kribi but when you decide to have a break you better go to place where all your needs are fulfilled. The rooms are OK but should you consider an extra bed for your child...forget about... More

I was impressed with the ambiance. The rooms are ok, clean and cozy, not the greatest but comfortable. The place has a lot of plants and a nice beach bar. The waterfall is a short walk away along the beach. The beach itself is ok, enjoyed the sunset, very relaxing vibe. Really enjoyed the food, that was excellent at this... More

This one is difficult for us to review as we have to remember we are in Africa. However, having said that, there are good hotels in Douala and somehow we seem to think the top resort spots in the country should be beginning to match the city hotels. However, this is definitely not the case. The bungalows look charming, the... More

I stayed there for one night and I can absolutely say that Ilomba is the best hotel in Kribi!!! The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly. The bar is next to beach and you can drink something near the ocean. It has also perfect beach and a cute swimming pool. By the way don't forget the see Peacocks...

We stayed at ILOMBA for a weekend. The setting is great, one literally steps out of the room directly onto the beach and it is a very ecofriendly environment.. I also enjoyed the food "Pot au feu a la mer", hope I got the name right! The soup was great and I ll definately come back to savour this delicious... More

I have been there twice and each time I enjoyed it. Your room is a little bungalow near the beach, sunny and very clean. There is no wifi and no television. The restaurant served delicious food but it might be a little expensive. There is a nice private beach where you can walk and also a bar where you can... More

We were with our missionary friends and they brought us here to stay. We were so,thrilled about this place. No bugs at all. We had the mosquito net and did not have to use it in our room. It was as close to a five star hotel in the states. In my opinion it was 5 star for Cameroon. Fresh... More

Relaxing atmosphere, good restaurant, walk for miles along the beach and you'll get all kinds of offers for a fresh seafood meal. There's a tourist attraction that's a 20 minute walk, but the main recreation is enjoying the beach.

First of all, i didnt even manage to find this property easily in any of the booking sites and not heard about it until i arrived in Kribi and the manager of the restaurant where i had lunch highly recommended this. So, i decided to take a local expert recommendation and drove here. I was praying and hoping – as... More
