Stayed from 22/3/12 to 29/3/12. Hotel looks like a pretty little village with cobbled streets & coloured bungalows.Rooms are massive with 2 king size beds & a kitchen diner but need updating.Unfortunately we had cockroaches in our room 606 which rather spoilt the holiday as i had to sleep with the lights on every night. The pool is gorgeous.a bit chilly... stayed this hotel feb 2012 ideal hotel for a chill out nothing to do . The hotel is very clean although rooms are a bit basic. Resturantes are fine, food is good although personally it would have been better if the hotel cats were not allowed into the resturantes whilst we were eating as i have a cat phobia and... More

I could not disagree more with negative reviews about this hotel, especially the one where the couple paid to go home early... They left the same day as us and I would of happily of stayed in their place as there was no way I wanted to come home! The place is like a little village with cobbled streets, a... More

We stayed between 16th - 23rd march 2012. After our lovely stay we couldnt understand all the negative comments about this lovely place. Our only gripe was YES the rooms are very basic, but who sits in a room in such a lovely place anyway? Best things about the holiday are .....,.food excellent, and such a wide choice. All of... We could not have wished for a nicer, friendlier hotel than the Royal Decameron. Right on the white sandy beach which goes on for miles. We loved the rooms which were very spacious. The hotel is designed like cobbled streets and lovely gardens and patios. In the restaurant there was a good choice of food for everyone from meat eaters... More

I am writing this review back in the uk when I should still be lying in the sun, but could not stand this place any longer and paid the best part of the holiday again to get a flight out of there. The food is disgusting recycled from breakfast to lunch to dinner. It was always cold, however did find... More

Arrived back from a fortnight in the beautiful, unspoilt island of Boa Vista. Before you board the plane ,you know you are going to be like sardines in a tin for six and half hours. However, all is forgotten as you fly down the side of the island and bank over for the landing at this primitive airport. It closes... More
