This is a nice place if you want to discover Paul, for me the best place to visit in Sant Antao. Trekking here is fantastic, you will be between bananas and papaya trees. Staff here is friendly and the rooms are clean. Breakfast will be up to the terrace with fresh fruits and yogurt.

This was a pleasant surprise. It is tucked away amongst banana palms so it is not visible from the road. There is a walkway through a building that leads to it. On arrival after the vibrations of the Cabo Verde roads it is a bit of a treat for your senses. The air is fresh, the birds are chirping and...

We stayed one night and were desolated at the sight of the room, when we saw it. The buildings facades are nice, but the interior is very basic and uncomfortable. At night, I was bitten by fleas. The mattress was old and didn't seem very clean. The shower was basic and not enticing. In the morning, breakfast could have saved...

We stayed here for one night. We were woken up by the construction noise in front of our room at 7am! When we requested an extra hour in the room as we could not get proper sleep, they said no, even after we explained. Breakfast is horrible: fake juice, fake butter, fake break. They wanted to save in the smallest...

This b&b has a very good location, at the end of the Paul Valley (great hikes, beautiful mountains) and in the village but still surrounded by nature and quiet. We had a suite with one kitchen/living room with 2 beds and one bedroom with a double bed. It had a large terrace with a beautiful view on the valley. And...

Very close to centre of this nice small town, down a beautiful path through a banana grove, it is secluded and peaceful. The beautiful little room was great, we could hear a running stream, just outside, all night. Though our early breakfast was serve a little coolly on our particular stay we would still recommend this pensao.

First and foremost if you are visiting Santo Antao you are one of the lucky ones in this earth. The island (outside of Porto Novo) is untouched and absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful people, culture, and nature all around you. Okay, on to the hotel. Small B&B located right in the heart of villa das Pombas (spelling?) Paul which is a lovely,...

Aldeida Jerome is run by an italian guy called Orazio. It is a lovely place, surrounded by nature, with an amazing view on Sao Antao mountains. Rooms are nice and clean, the atmosphere is very relaxing. I suggest it to anyone who goes to Sao Antao and stops at Ribeira do Paul.

Stumbled upon this place when I arrived in Paul, as had not booked anywhere. Slightly more expensive than some other places I had stayed in, but when I saw the room I thought it was well worth the extra money - as the rooms are bright, spacious and spotless, and had a tv! Bed was comfortable and the the place...

We came at Vila das Pombas during the end of the festival of Sto Antao. I had expected the B&B to be located a bit out of the village, bus to my surprise we were amidst green gardens very close to the small center ánd all the activities. This meant we could "enjoy" the music during the festival till 5...
