Beautiful surroundings leading down to the river. We were in a tour group so were all in different rooms. We were in a large room in a terrace at the back of the hotel. It was sparsely furnished with a wooden table and chair. The bathroom was also large with a separate shower room with plentiful hot water. When we...

I spent a wonderful few days relaxing at Keur de Saloum. They owners and staff all went out of their way to extend a friendly welcome. True Terenga! The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The food was good and the atmosphere completely relaxing. Just what I needed. There are plenty of things to do, kayak, boating, bird watching,...

Very nice hotel, my family of 4 stayed in a large room with a queen bed and bunk beds. we did have Internet and no electricity problems. Dinner was good and it overlooked the river. the pool was just redone and it is beautiful. We stayed in toubakouta with the purpose of going to fathala, much less expensive than the...

We stayed there twice and agreed that it was the nicest accommodations we had in Senegal or Gambia. The isolated huts are entirely sufficient, clean and comfortable. The meals we had, breakfast and dinner, were more than adequate. Special gluten free food was available, if requested. The WiFi worked and boat trips, including fishing, are easy to schedule. All in...

The rooms are individual huts and very nice for Senegal. No Internet or TV in my room. Was able to watch some soccer in the common area and wireless Internet available there also. You can't order from the restaurant. You get what they made for the day and that is all. Beautiful views. Saw monkeys and alligator on the property....

Friendly staff, basic but functional rooms. Meals are on a rotating menu with mostly Senegalese dishes. I stayed for two months and was never served something I didn't like! Each group has its own table, marked with a sign. Free wi-fi in common areas; they are extending it to the bungalows this month. The pool is small but clean.

Really a nice hotel with all the comforts you need after a day on dusty roads of Africa.... Nice bungalows scattered in a park, some small shops, a small swimming-pool to relax (towels are provided). If you stay more than one night several excursion are proposed, both by boat and by land. The bedrooms are pleasant, with mosquito nets and...

Keur Saloum fits its description perfectly. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and cool. The hotel amenities are great and the staff is especially friendly. I really enjoyed my meals at the hotel and if you have any specific food allergies or requirements, you can tell reception upon arrival and they will make a note of it and adjust the menu...

The view from their patio will take your breath away. In the midst of a village, this place is like heaven to relax and rejuvenate yourself. Away from the hustle bustle of town this is a great and well attended hideout. If you love seafood this is the place. The place has a well appointed bar and restaurant and wifi...

This is a great little hotel with much better food than some reviews led us to expect. Yes, you get set meals but they are varied, well prepared and a nice blend of European and Senegalese. You get advance notice of what's for lunch and dinner and if you'd rather have something else, you just ask. There's lots of fish...
