We enjoyed six nights in this delightful rural setting, while visiting the major sights of the Perigord Noir just a few minutes drive away. Celine and Ludovic strive tirelessly to look after their guests. And it works. We were very happy here. Hospitality and attention to detail are uppermost, and being a very large group we tested their resolve with...

A lovely location, on a hillside, with wonderful views of the valley and the hilltop town of Domme in the distance makes this hotel special. I think after they complete renovating all of their rooms, then that will also be special. Currently, as explained at the front desk, there are three categories of rooms. Since we were only staying one...

While the hotel seems a bit tired, the host and hostess were welcoming. The rooms were adequate in size and comfortable. The breakfasts were adequate, while not included in price. It is a bit hard to find, but once we saw it from a distance, were knew we were to like the location.

Dear Woody….. We are happy to read that you have enjoyed your stay in our hotel and appreciate our rooms and continental buffet breakfast. For a next stay we recommend our “sun rooms” with terrace and kitchenet, fully renovated, or the “elegant rooms” also renovated. Sarlat is a 5-minute drive and you can find many restaurants less than 2 minutes...

A beautiful, quiet, country location, yet convenient to the mid-sized ancient town of Sarlat (about 10 minutes by car). This family hotel is run by a very friendly and accommodating couple who produce an excellent continental-style cold buffet breakfast though other meals need to be either taken elsewhere, as there is no restaurant on-site, or self-prepared in one of the...

Delightful hotel in the countryside of Vitrac. Beautiful garden around the entrance to the hotel, swimming pool and plentiful parking for guests cars - taxis not easy to obtain so hired car is recommended. Hotel is currently run by an exceptionally helpful couple - Mr/Mrs La Coste and their friendly efficient staff. Both Mr/Mrs La Coste went out of their...

Location of the hotel is set back from town so you really need a car to stay here but having nice pool made up for it. We were in the need of some advice on the area but unfortunately the front desk English was not stellar and advice was limited. Best breakfast of our trip.

We had a "soleil" (sun) room on the garden level. The room was clean, quite spacious and corresponded to our requirements, including a kitchenette with all the necessary kitchenware, stove, refrigerator, etc. From our terrace we enjoyed the nice large garden of the hotel and the beautiful surrounding hills. The location is excellent, very central in the Perigord Noir, 7...

We may have misread the information but we were expecting river views. There weren't any but the views across the (trees) river were beautiful, as far as Gomme on the distant hilltop. Nicely set back up a long drive it is set well back from the road. It is a chalet style hotel in look and fairly modern. The rooms...

We stayed for 2 nights in August. Hotel is on the outskirts of Vitrac (10 min walk) and is set on a hill. The hotel staff were friendly and spoke English. The reception is open during the day but not in the night. Our room looked out onto a hill bank. The room looked very tired and in need of...

Good place to stay for 1 to 3 days; we stayed one night. We slept well in a clean room and had a very good breakfast. Good heating in the bathroom, but complicated airconditioning in the room (may was rather cold this yar). No restaurant in the hotel, but lots of places nearby to have a good Périgord-meal. The owner,...
