This place is as centrally located as you can get and yet so amazingly quiet from the beautiful pool deck. Also, the manager is very friendly and the cook is amazing. Don't let it fool you that they don't have a full kitchen. The breakfast, greek salad, and tzatziki were the best we had on the whole island and drinks...

Excellent location right in the heart of the city. Wonderful sunset views from the rooftop terrace. Beautiful white-washed buildings, clean and quiet rooms, great pool and poolside snacks, good free wifi. Staff very helpful in providing information about the town. Four of us (parents and two teen-aged children) comfortably shared a room that had a queen bed, a single bed...

Nicely located almost at the heart of Oia hotel was good in terms of room facilities, furniture, comfort etc. Hotel has a nice roof terrace where sunset can be observed. Swimming pool is nice but deep so families with children should take good care of them. Breakfast was really so so for the price I paid (over 180 euros per...

Dear Hagisan, thank you for your review. For our future guests, please note that we provide a snack until 15h30, with salads and several hot greek specialities. But it is true that we don't have a complete restaurant, many traditional tavern and restaurant are 1or 2 minutes by foot close to our hotel. Regarding the title (Too Expensive), everyone has...

Rooms were spacious and the bathroom modern and updated. We had a room with a small loft and rooftop terrace. We got amazing sunset pictures and didn't have to fight the crowds. Breakfast had many choices.

As many other reviews pointed out, the sunset terrace really sets this place apart. We enjoyed it on 3 of our nights there, instead of going to the touristy and VERY crowded spot in Oia. It was breathtaking! One night my husband and I were the only ones there, and on the others there were 2 or 3 more people,...

Hotel is in the midst of everything in Oia, 3 mins walk to bus station/taxi and right in the midst of restaurants, fast food outlets, shops and 10 mins walk to the castle to watch the sunset/ Caldera and popular photo sites shown in brochures & guide books.Beside the castle are the steps leading down to Amoudi bay.Do not attempt...

We came at the start of May with our ten month old son. Everyone was so helpful and I honestly don't think they could have done more for us. We stayed in two rooms during our stay, one at the top of the steps just below the sunset terrace (where my partner proposed!) and room 6 on the ground level....

Staying right in the heart of Oia is the way to go. This hotel is beautiful, and the views are great from the roof. Georgia was a very nice host, and the breakfast was also good. Only downside was a slow internet connection, but I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Aethrio Hotel has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The staff were all very friendly and so helpful with all our questions, even ringing the ferry company to find out sailing times etc. The location of the hotel is very central and our room was equipped with a roof top terrace which meant you could see the stunning sunset...
