We were fortunate to get a reservation at this excellent inn that was highly recommended by several people in the local area. The inn is charming, clean and comfortable. Shower water was hot and great pressure. Bed was very comfortable. Room and inn was quiet and restfull. Breakfast cooked to order and delicious.

Chris was very responsive to multiple messages that I had to send because of location, additional guest and plan changes on my trip. He was able to accommodate every request and stay was perfect for what I needed. Pricing was extremely fair, rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Loved the atmosphere and the subtlety of decor, not cluttered like many houses of same age.

Oh my goodness, I wish I could scream at how amazing this place is. Every year since I was 3 I have been coming to upstate NY to visit family and normally stay with them in the family home. Because of covid and the family that live up here a r e getting older, plus 2 of the people I went with were not vaccinated yet, we decided to stay in this amazing local BNB. The house smells like fresh cookies or like my family home that we were visiting. It is amazingly maintained, homey, clean and SO pretty! I loved staying here, was able to work at night with the free wifi, room had a lock to keep thing safe, although it is located is a safe cute little town surrounded by great local foods, attractions and shopping, and they may a you custom breakfast to your liking every morning. I visit yearly and this is is my new favorite place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Splendor Inn! Chris was very accommodating to us, letting us arrive after check-in time and an early breakfast to boot! Our room was very comfortable, nice and quiet. We enjoyed the coffee and water that was out all the time for guests. Breakfast was eggs cooked to order, english muffin, yogurt, hash browns and coffee - the perfect way to start the day!

If you're searching for a really comfortable stay while visiting or traveling through North-Central New York, this place is lovely. I recently spent three nights there while visiting my brother at the nearby Veterans Home. Chris and Ann are thoughtful hosts, glad to help with getting familiar with the house as well the town of Norwich, offering suggestions for dinner and answering any questions. A really appreciated touch is finding a little room upstairs for helping yourself to a chilled bottle of water or coffee & tea, available for early risers or evening tea . Plus there's homemade welcome cookies! The full breakfast was remarkable, definitely a great beginning to your morning. I've been traveling here for over five years to spend time with my brother and somehow missed this spot. This will be my go-to lodging in the future. I recommend it highly! PS: If you're looking for a spot for fall color, you'll find it going in any direction!

Chris was the perfect host at the charming Splendor Inn in Norwich, New York. The place is small with regards to the number of rooms, but with three floors, each room it very quiet and private. The year-round sun room off the main parlor is the perfect place to settle down with a good book. For dinner, Nina's Italian Restaurant is a 5-minute walk and offers great atmosphere with frescoed walls and great food.

I've never felt so comfortable in someone else's home. It made me want to move to Norwich. Entirely peaceful, charming, cozy, and relaxing. The hosts are genial and have perfected the right balance of attentiveness (my, what a great breakfast!) and respect for the privacy, ease, and independence of their guests.

Our week long stay was WONDERFUL! Chris & Ann have thought of everything! Breakfast was delicious and always fresh. There are fresh cookies, fruit, and coffee tea and water available 24/7. There are plenty of places to sit and read, the house is clean, tidy and comfortable. And, although Chris and Ann do an amazing job, Cass (aka official dog greeter) is the one putting in all the long hours. Ha! Best B&B hands down! Can’t wait to visit again!

Can’t say enough good things about a recent week-long stay at Splendor Inn. Our room on the third floor was clean, spacious, quiet and a perfect oasis at the end of a busy day. Breakfast was relaxing with a nice selection of good food to start the day (esp. the blueberry French toast) and bottomless cups of tea and coffee. Chris was the perfect host, and Kaz made sure we started each day with a smile. Splendor Inn is by far the best place to stay in Norwich.
