Detailed Reviews
Stayed one night while visiting the area to find Fall foliage! Easy to find; on a strip with many stores and restaurants. Staff was very friendly; everyone you passed said hello. The room was clean. Good wifi, TV, adequate bathroom/toiletries and lots of light and outlets. The bed was a bit soft for my tastes. The room was an adjoining type which I felt made our room noisy!!! FYI..this is a pet friendly hotel, which meant we could hear our neighbor's dog barking at 11:00 at night and 7 in the am...a big no-no for us from now on. There is a grab and go breakfast, which had more choices than many we've seen :milk, cereal, yogurt, fruit cups, juice, coffee, trail mix packs and a variety of pre packaged cakes. Overall, I feel the place could use some freshening up, but it was more than fine for 1 night. See if you can avoid adjoining rooms or being next to a pet owner.

Our group (12 couples) decided to try a new venue for our NYE celebration. We all booked rooms and the party package (very reasonable). We asked that our rooms be together but we were kind of scattered. That was fine. The room was very clean and comfortable. They did accommodate our big group at one table which was very much appreciated! We had a great time. The DJ was great. Kept us dancing all night. Now for the not so good. The food was not hot. It tasted ok. The appetizers were good and plentiful but dinner wasn’t great. Also included in our stay was a “hot” buffet breakfast which included make your own waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage. I had a waffle but others said the eggs and sausage were not good. We ended up going to Denny’s.
All in all we had a great time at the party and we were comfortable sleeping. Perhaps offering a later check out after NYE would be appreciated.

We generally prefer Hampton Inns on our road trips, but we had to find a property where our two cats could stay with us.
Reception and check in was flawless with an enthusiastic and welcoming front desk host. The property is very clean and covid precautions appeared to be followed. We appreciated a room assignment near a door to parking lot.
We had a couple drinks and dinner at the pub on property. We were the only guests at first, then two other parties came in, but all masked and socially distanced. The bar tender also did a great job as server. My husband loved his meatloaf dinner with fresh sauteed green beans. I had the chicken fajita wrap which was fresh and delicious.
After closing our camp in Maine, then six hours of driving, the bed was AMAZING! It was like sleeping on marshmallows, swaddling our sore tired bodies in comfort. Breakfast was nothing to write home about - precooked eggs to put on a biscuit, sausage gravy, cereal and breakfast bars. Coffee was just OK, so we stopped and bought some.
This was night one of three as we drove from Maine to Florida. We enjoyed this hotel and will likely stay there again in the spring.

Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff, decent on-the-go breakfast included, great price! Having to spend quite a few overnights because of our granddaughter in college, this place can't be beat for all of the things you need provided for a short stay.

This is a 3 star hotel so I wasn’t expecting much other than cleanliness which isn’t a lot to ask for. I did advise the front desk of a dog hair allergy and her response was that all the rooms are dog friendly but you’d never know it after the porters clean. Well, we knew it as soon as we walked in the room as we were hit in the face hard with an unbearable nasty, big drooling, rabid dog stench (think Cujo, it was disgusting.) It wasn’t even about the allergies at that point but I could definitely feel tightness in my chest straight away. I advised the front desk clerk we may need to change rooms but her response was the same (yet more condescending) all the rooms are pet friendly and we don’t know which rooms dogs have been in. (You must know because you charge a $35 fee per stay so you lie.) But as I said, it was no longer about the allergies but more about the nauseating smell. The windows don’t even open a crack and I couldn’t check out fast enough in the morning. I am extremely annoyed with the front desk clerk for her lack of customer accommodation and tone. The next morning, a really nice young lady named Justine helped me check out. She told me the same thing about the dog rooms but that she would have changed ours. Wish she had been working at check in.
Since I’m leaving a review, I’ll also comment on the cleanliness since that was all I was hoping for. There was hair under the bars of soap, hair in the shower, food/debris in the fridge handle crevice and a dirty room card. The shower curtain was hung inside out with the tag facing outward and several visible surfaces were either dusty or grimy. This was definitely a miserable hotel stay.

We were traveling home after 2 months in Florida. It was the end of March and NYS campgrounds we not open. The hotel we planned to stay in Pennsylvania told us they were closing down the day we wanted to stay. So we decided to stay in Oneonta at the Quality Inn . There hotel is dog friendly and there was space for our Motorhome. We have staid here many times while my mother in law was in the nursing home there. They were always pleasant to deal with. After a challenging trip up I 81 in rain and fog we were happy to reach this comfortable place. There were only 3 other cars and 2 trucks in the parking lot., but they were open and welcoming. As usual we all got a good nights sleep in the spotlessly clean room.

Room was super neat and clean. Beds were so comfortable. Great A/C. Breakfast was limited due to COVID but hot breakfast sandwiches were available to take back to the room and microwave. Just fine. Highly recommended facility.

After an all-day drive in bad-ish weather we learned that not far down the road it was turning icy.
SO...we decided to get off the road for some well-needed rest while the road conditions improved.
The room was everything we needed. Though dated (like a lot of other places), the room was clean and well appointed, and I enjoyed one of the best nights of sleep I've ever had in a hotel.
It was also quiet.
Breakfast wasn't bad and I even got to try an egg white something or other and went back for a second.
For what we paid, I'd have expected less but It's still a subjective thing. Somebody will no doubt find something wrong with the place. Somebody always does...

I stayed here with my daughter. Our beds were comfortable. The coffee up at the front was delicious. Our shower served its purpose but it was ugly in an old kind of way. The free shampoo smells nice. Our stay was satisfactory.

Oneonta was a stop on our college tour. Wanted to stay at the Hampton Inn but they lacked availability. Friends had recommended the Quality Inn as the runner up. Overall it was a fine property. Opted for a two queen room. Beds were reasonably comfortable and room was clean. Bathroom had a little wear and tear to it (looked like in a make-over they kept the fixtures) but nothing that was a deal breaker. Breakfast was included which is nice (not quite as good as Hampton). Nice outdoor pool area which gets extra points. Location is about 30 minutes from Cooperstown so availability can be an issue during Spring and Summer I imagine.
