Visited Omega for a week long conference. Accommodations were ok, simple but fairly comfortable. The food however is mostly terrible. I often eat vegetarian and love tofu - however after DAYS of nothing but tofu and tempeh my friend and I desperately left to find another source of protein - Taco Tuesday pushed us over the edge including indigestion. Again...

My daughter and I traveled to Omega for a Mother/Daughter Workshop. The workshop was amazing. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The Sanctuary for meditation and the Pavilion for yoga were sacred spaces. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We staying in a cabin with a shared bathroom. The room was small but enough space for us. Room and bathrooms were...

I've been there few times. Also for the no workshop program. The place is very beautiful. Very soothing. Food is very good. The rooms are very simple. It is a place for your body ,mind and spirit. A very special place. Lets people be authentic, kind and happy.

I guess, simplicity is the best word to describe Omega, and after a little while it becomes abcolutely enchanting. Effortless spontaneous slowing down. I wish I could have stayed there longer. That's said, it does take some adjustment to arrive at such peaceful and reflective state of mind. The Pema Chodron workshop in October 2015 was everything I expected and...

I attended the Pema Chodron seminar in October 2015. Keeping in mind that my primary reason for visiting Omega was for a spiritual retreat to learn meditation and be in the presence of a wonderful spiritual teacher and many supportive, kind fellow attendees, my expectations for lodging and food were fairly low. Yes, the lodgings are rustic, simple but clean...

This was my second time at Omega. The first time was about 10 years ago. It wasn't the 'magical' place I discovered 10 years ago. One thing has stayed the same though - I wasn't crazy about the food then, and I wasn't crazy about the food this time. I wished there was more variety and options. Since I'm diabetic,...

My husband and I attended a couples workshop at Omega a few weeks ago. While the property is beautiful - great lake, walking trails, etc. - it reminded me of my kids' sleep away camp, which I found out it had been in another life. The room we checked into was absolutely filthy. Hair in the shower, grime on the...

The 7 day silent retreat we attended with Adyashanti was spectacular; however, we were shocked at our accommodations, especially considering the cost - $3100 for 1 week! Much of this was for food; however, the food was often disappointing too! Very little variety for breakfast over 7 days and uninteresting lunch and dinner choices after the first night's supper which...

This is an incredible space in a beautiful natural setting. The variety of programs available is tremendous. Food is nutritious and mostly vegetarian. The lodging we choose at the upper end of the options available was poorly cared for and we urged greater attentiveness to the housekeeping staff. Some of the spaces need more attention to cleanliness.

I had just come from a retreat in the mountains of the catskills deep in nature to attend a 5 day workshop at Omega. I was rather overwhelmed by how commercial it all was, when I walked in. I know many said this was like a nature retreat. Probably to many city folks it is. Well not compared to where I...
