The Delamater Inn is a building that is a part of a cluster of Victorian and modern inn buildings, set around a green, all part of the Beekman Arms and Delamater Inn complex. You must know what you are booking, and the website doesn't quite give you clear impressions of the variances in bookings. We chose to tour the rooms...

Great weekend getaway! We stayed two nights. Room #73 is nicely furnished, large, clean, ac worked well. Staff is friendly and attentive, we needed our coffee maker changed and it was done right away. Bed was comfortable, mattress was a little firm but we both slept well. All in all it was a nice stay, not over the top amazing...

Thank you for your review! The Courtyard rooms on the Delamater side of the property are one of our favorites as well! I hope you were able to enjoy the complimentary decanter of New York Cream Sherry!

We ate often at the Tavern at the Beekman Arms over the last two months and the meals were all excellent. Their Tavern Burger is the BEST hamburger I have ever tasted. The servers are all first class, especially Becca, Liz and Jen. You get a choice of the dining area, the patio, the glass enclosed patio, the tavern and...

We were traveling to the area to visit the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library. The Beekman Arms was well located and lovely. As the oldest Inn in America, it had some quirks, like a step up to the bathroom, but it was lovely. We visited the bar which was a little dark, but well stocked and full of historical atmosphere....

"Terrible" because of the discrepancy between what you pay and what you get. We were in the Delamater Inn, in one of the newer little buildings. The room was damp and didn't smell good. The furniture is very poor quality (except the bed), the carpet is old and ugly, the bath is in PLASTIC and cracked when were there, the...

I recently stayed 4 nights at the Beekman Arms Hotel, in their Townsend House building. I was a little nervous about staying here after reading other reviews of the hotel on this site, but I decided to stay there anyway because of the great location in lovely Rhinebeck, NY. I came away pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Our rooms in...

This charming old inn is a timeless classic. Located in the quaint little village of Rhinebeck this historic building is truly the center of town. As you would expect from such an old property the rooms aren't brand new, marble, etc. It's the charm of the place that keeps my wife and I coming back nearly every year. The nicest...

Went to Rhinebeck for my girlfriends family reunion. Her parents stayed in the Beekman Arms, we got an Air B&B. They paid over $1,000 for 3 nights for a 2 bed room, and on checkout they lost her dads "paid in full cash bill". He's old school and doesn't use cards. They eventually got it settled, but it wasn't the...

Out front is a sign: America's Oldest Inn. That seems incredible to me, but let's go with it. It has that olde feel. Right in the middle of the village, clean, large room, pet friendly, we've stayed here before and have always been welcomed by a warm, inviting staff. The Tavern is a warm place on a cold night. And...

We stayed in the Delamater House, Room 54. The room was okay, but the bathroom extremely small, as in powder room sized. The shower floor slanted a bit too much. The continental breakfast was just okay. The staff in the Inn were pleasant, but not sympathetic to our comment about the small bath and being awakened at 6:15 am by...

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Room 54 is in the Historical Delamater House. Our Gothic Victorian Home designed by Alexander Jackson Davis. This home has the elegant charm of it's origins. As this is a Historical building, all of the room types vary in size and layout. No "two" rooms are the same, and...
