We booked this inn through Hotels.com for the 6th of November. We did not receive any special instructions by email so presumed it was a normal hotel with staff on premises. We had stayed in Syracuse for 2 nights, drove to the Waterloo outlet mall and then took the scenic route through secondary roads to Sacket's harbour, arriving at about...

while this started on the wrong foot because of a booking error on the part of the hotel (they had our reservation noted for a day later) our experience was overall very good. When we arrived, we unloaded our luggage and lugged it up the front stairs only to find the doors locked, so we had to lug them back...

My husband and I had a very pleasant one night's stay here and we wish it could have been longer - we particularly liked the quiet location, right on the water, with a gorgeous panoramic view and overlooking a little marina. A great place to see the sunset over the lake too. The building, part of the old barracks, had...

This is the second time we stop there with different friends and each time our friends are surprised to find such a niçe hotel with front view on the Ontario Lake. The hotel seems brand new inside, each room is very comfortable and clean. There is no restaurant nor breakfast at the hotel but there is a bar/restaurant just few...

Poor customer service. During our stay in December, the fire alarm went off falsely two nights in a row. Since it was December there was no one on-site, leaving the few guests standing for some time by the doors till someone showed up. Upon check out, the owners said they would discount our next stay by half for the inconvenience...

We were there in mid-September which is definitely off-season. I think there were only two other rooms occupied. It is a very nice, reasonably priced hotel about a 15 minute walk from the main drag or about a 3 minute car ride. It is a building that was formerly part of an Army post. The developers have done a great...

We loved the large room, the views of the harbor and the friendliness of the staff upon check-in. The location is convenient for visiting my sister-in-law in Dexter, NY. The Inn provided historic information in our room, which was very interesting to read. There are a few welcoming locations for sitting and mingling with other guests, including the large front...

Nothing against the hotel at all. Very clean room, free wifi, coffee machine, micro wave, flat screen tv, comfortable bed, free parking out front, no phones in room if needed, but for the price it was great. With tax $96.00 U.S. There is a restaurants directly behind on the water, we stopped there for a beer before heading downtown. It...

If you are a history buff , this is a must. Hotel was quaint and clean and took you back to a period of time when life was not so complicated. Carlie was our contact and was cheerful and accommodating. The Barracks restaurant was exceptional. We spent an evening on our patio enjoying a glass of wine and admiring the view...

“Remember that on level one you have people above you. As I write this the elephants on the second floor are moving their herd around their room.......crazy.....Regular Rooms are smallish, no kitchen; for a weekend that is OK. The best restaurant is Tin Pan Galley and they are best for lunch.”
