The hotel is in need of a lot of updates inside and out. The overall cleanliness of the rooms is poor but bed was comfortable. Pool was clean and front desk lady was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately we probably won’t stay here again.

We booked a last minute trip to Saratoga: -No blow dryers in the room -Pool area is in utter disrepair, a fall and injury risk on the uneven pavement, the pool itself was cloudy and dirty 3. The rooms were not clean, musty, and dim with few outlets 4. A duck did fly into pool, then stood by pool edge. Although he was cute, it wasn't cute that she pooped on the ledge of the pool -We parked our car by the second level steps. Next morning we had a small, noticeable dent in our car. Staff said camera footage would be reviewed... -Price changed nightly. People who had arrived were leaving after one night because of the extreme cost- -Somewhat walkable to downtown -We had to request a plunger, clean towels and additional toilet paper over our three day stay We made the best of our trip and accommodations as we were looking forward to this get-away time; however, we would not ever stay at the Turf and Spa Motel again. It is run down and I cannot emphasize how overpriced it is. For $500 a night we could have gotten a lovely hotel room in Manhattan or anywhere else. Buyer beware--the poor ratings are, for the most part, accurate. As far as the "good" ratings, I am not sure about their validity. This place is a dump.

We travel regularly both domestically & internationally & have never had such a poor experience! Reluctantly booked this motel as part of a group (another party booked for us). We had read the reviews but thought how bad could it be? IT WAS WORSE!! We paid $375+ for the night & I didn’t even stay the night, driving home 2.5 hours home @ midnight instead. The pool area had uneven paver surface surrounding the pool which could easily cause someone to trip & fall into the pool. The water did not look safe to swim in. Need to be completely redone for safety purposes. The building is in complete disrepair. When I say it needs to be it needs to be torn down & re-built it is not an exaggeration. The property has been let go so badly nothing is salvageable. Cleanliness is key for me & it didn’t even have that. Bedding is VERY old, and the room needs a deep cleaning. A/C was in working condition but full of dust and mold. Bathrooms had tiles falling off walls & looks like it hasn’t been cleaned with toothpaste & other grime throughout. Bugs were found not only in the room we had but many of our friends' rooms. Due to severe allergies to dust & mold had to request a room change after stepping into the first room. Was reassigned a new room which was the same. One of the other couples went to the front desk & was told, “what do you expect it is an old motel”! UNACCEPTABLE especially when you pay as much as they did because of a late booking $600+ for the night!! Not sure why any Booking site allows this motel to be booked through them!!

The motel is old and some features could use an upgrade, but that is part of its charm. Within walking distance of food and amenities. Very clean room. Worked out perfectly for us. Staff were very helpful. Perfect stay for us. An old motel of a breed that is dying out. We were happy to have found it and were very happy with our choice.

My stay there was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff was extremely polite and nice and provided me with everything I needed. Also my daughter came late at night and they found a room for her in a near by motel.

All new beds, bedding, and drapes. Perfectly maintained pool and jacuzzi. We were comfortable, air conditioning, television and refrigerator all worked perfectly. New towels in very clean old tile bath. Older rug. Pool is very nice with gardens on both sides. We will happily come back. Yes it is $250 a night during racing, but Hiltons are $400.00 a night. It was fine for us. Also keurig in the room with green mountain k-cups.

My best friend and I went to SPAC for a show and this was one of the closest and most affordable hotels to the venue. (We still had to pay $250 because it was opening weekend at the track.) Honestly, this hotel is exactly what I expected from an Upstate old-school motel. Yes, the rug is decades old. The bathroom is from the fifties. I felt the need to check the sheets. (All were quite clean.) However, it was all part of the experience. Normally I stay at 4+ star places, but this place was fun. Plus, it was a safe 30 minute walk to the venue.

Please spend your money elsewhere, I know I should have. Honestly, this place is a dump! Hotels are expensive this time of year in Saratoga Springs and I was trying to be budget conscience. All said and done jt was $ I72 and I have stayed in hotels much nicer for less. The spa by the pool has been closed by the health dept. but that is not advertised on their website. Pretty sure the carpet which looks like it is the original, was wet and moldy. Unfortunately I didn't notice this until the next morning and I believe it made me sick. The next morning I was severely congested with no voice for two days. The bathroom was disgusting, still all original tile, dirty and moldy, a little bleach goes a long way hotel owners. You can have an older hotel be nice, it is called reinvesting into updating and keeping it CLEAN! The bed was the hardest I have ever TRIED to sleep on, because I didn't sleep. Should have just got another hotel or drove home but I had already spent enough money on my concert tickets. I will only stay at chain hotels going forward and spend the extra money if I have to! The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the location is close to all Saratoga has to offer including SPAC.
