Most of the campgrounds now a days seem more like a large parking lot than a campground. This KOA is different. Now far from the Thruwayz, but in a quiet wooded area. The sites are mostly shaded and not in row after row. The owners are very friendly people and the campground itself is neat and clean. I recommend this...

The campground opened in April and my wife and I stayed the first week of May. The weather was still rather cool but we enjoyed ourselves along with the quiet time. There were not many guest because we were there early in season. The owner was friendly and the campground and sites were clean. We did not stay at the...

This was my first experience at a KOA campground. We had a group of 9 (plus a dog) and we stayed in the one room Cabins K4, K5, K6 and K7. I love the rustic feeling of camping while also having a roof over my head as well. It had that log cabin feel on the inside. The cabin did...

Great KOA in such a gorgeous area! Felt completely with nature in our little cabin. Very clean and tidy. Felt very comfortable. The amenities are older than some but they were very clean (except shower curtains) Everything looks very well looked after. The owners really seem to care about their Koa. It seems they are doing upgrades to make it...

On the upside the washrooms and laundromat attached to the check in area and store were top notch, clean roomy and well cared for. On the down side pur site was adjacent to the check-in area, noisy, dusty and muddy after a rain shower. The overall campground facilities appear tired and in need of some TCL. For the rate charged...

Very nice campground. We had a nice spot with 30A, water and power. Dump station was convenient. Just what we were looking for to spend the night. Had we stayed longer they have bicycles to rent and you could go into the cute town of Saugerties. Would recommend this koa.

This is a nice family rub campground that is right off the NYS Thruway. Nice staff, good flat sites, good rates. Near Woodstock (town, not concert) and Saugerties. Saugerties lighthouse ids a nice stop, many of antiques, art and shops nearby.

We had a reservation. After a day full of outdoor activities, we arrived at the campground, anticipating a quiet night's sleep before heading out early for another day. To a great surprise, the owner who greeted us pointed to an obscure rule forbidding setting up tents after 10PM. We only arrived at 10.40, not in the middle of the night!...

If all you're doing is stopping overnight, this KOA will do. Bathrooms are clean close to campground (called outhouses), with flush toilets and newer. Shower houses are dated, and in serious need of an upgrade, and not just for cosmetic purposes. Our site was large, with a falling down fire ring and a picnic table with moss growing on it....

We spent 2 nights in the recent July heat. The site was a pull through for our 40 ft class A motor home and tow vehicle. The site was so large, we could have fit another RV also. The park was quiet and rustic with large shad trees. I did use the laundry room. It was clean. There was a...
