My family hiked Slide Mnt on Saturday. I knew we were going to be exhausted after the hike so instead of driving back to eastern Long Island I decided to make a reservation at this Inn. Pictures online looked nice so I was looking forward to the stay. I made a reservation for a 2 bedroom suite for one night.... More

Nothing like the photos on the website and not worth the price . If we weren't wet and tired from tubing we would have found another place . Check it out before you commit . To make things worse , There must have been a group of kids who rented above us who were screaming all night .

we payed for early check in and we had to wait 20min. for some one to show up to open up. the room though small was basically clean. It had 1 small metal chair which was very uncomfortable. the common room was shabby, old and dingy to match the few old looking books they had. because of the time constraint... More

Rooms are basic but everything you could need for a room with a small kitchen. Chago and wife are very nice and helpful. The bar was a little expensive but also one of the few hotels in the area to offer bar service on premises so its worth it in that sense.

We visited for a family reunion. The restaurant was nice and the food was good. We stayed in room 27. The outside look of the place was average, however the room itself was nice and clean with the bathroom and sleeping area up to date. It had a kitchenette as well with a stove top and microwave. The stay was... More

Housekeeping almost non existent; trash left in basket, no soap or toilet paper. Website said cell phone service was available, but none existed. Parking area was very muddy. TV disconnected. Room had absolutely no amenities, hugely overpriced.

My folks go here often but this was the first time for me. Had the Escargot inside a Mushroom Cap with White Wine Garlic Sauce appetizer. Delicious. Tried the Calamari appetizer, well-made, not tough, no legs and a healthy portion. Would order again. Also tried the Baked Clams appetizer, delicious also. Pops said the Crab Cake appetizer was very good.... More
