Was a convenient place to stay. Check in and out was fast and easy. Room was clean and fresh smelling. We did not partake of the breakfast or the wifi, so I can't comment on those aspects. The only complaint I could give was that the pillows are not very comfortable!

No fitness or business center, big rooms, parking wasn't great. Coined laundry in the main hallway. No real service, bathing area was below average. I wasn't impressed or disappointed by anything other than the room size which was far more than I expected for the price

Room was clean and comfortable, good air conditioning, wifi; steps away from a good Pizza Hut and a Dollar General for amenities. Staff was friendly. While I was there (two nights) the only vending machine was broken and I received no housekeeping.

They charged extra for a 1st floor room, no elevator, Veteran husband has a handicap. The $100 hold to my credit card that went along with the room charge has not been refunded as always has been in every case of other motels I stayed. It is one week later and charge is still on my cared. I believe this maybe a scam.

We were looking for a hotel to get some shut eye, I saw this one had rooms available and it was going on midnight so we stopped. I immediately was like this is what desperation gets you. Rooms that could use some updating, beds hard and uncomfortable, even through our slippers you could feel lumps under the rugs and the hallways smelled of stale cigarette smoke even though it states smoke free on the doors. Breakfast the next morning put me over the edge, granola bar fruit cup and coffee with powdered creamer, yes that was it. no juice, no cocoa for kids, no hot water for tea, etc this Super 8 was my first stop ever for this brand and I don't plan on ever choosing them again.

This hotel is not worth the price they are charging. $110 for this rundown hotel is a rip off. The included breakfast was comprised of a snack pack of peaches and coffee. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody and suggest to go on to the next town of Oneida where there are more hotels to choose from.

There was a snow storm last night and I had to have a tow truck take me to the nearest super 8 in Sidney. I just got out of work. I work second shift. After hours waiting for the tow truck and getting settled, I got a call twice in the night being told I had to go out and shovel. The first time, the worker went out and helped. The second time, i was the only one shoveling the parking lot. The third time, before time to check out, all the guests were out there shoveling so we could leave and I had to buy a $12 dollar snow shovel because there were no shovels to do their job. I paid full price for the room. I paid for a room, but I feel like I ended up working for them to maintain the grounds. I had no sleep at all. I thought i was paying them for warm shelter. Non the less, I had no gloves. Which was my fault not to have in my car but still. I had to go back to work at 3 pm. No sleep. Went to work in wet clothes. I should have at least had a discountbon the room for doing someone's job. Not happy.

The General Manager, Dana, is the epitome of a conscientious professional. She went to great lengths in helping me with a reservation problem, that she finally solved.
Her conscientiousness is also highlighted in her inspiring the House-Cleaning crew. The lobby, hallways, my room, and the outside grounds, were immaculate. . . . . The amenities plentiful, and always stocked. I highly recommend Super 8, especially as long as Dana is in charge !

Looking for rooms near Oneonta, but a lot were booked. I knew this was not a high end property but the reviews seemed OK. The desk clerk was nice. The halls/room smelled like stale smoke...yuck! The room was clean, but old and worn. The desk chair had a big burn hole in it. Beds were fine. We were on the bottom floor, so you could hear the upstairs guest stomping around, and....of course there was a barking dog nearby! I like dogs as much as the next guy but pet friendly hotels are the worst. Breakfast was granola bars, fruit cups and coffee; why bother. Price point was far too high for what was offered.
