I don’t even know where to start. I could ramble on for as long as the review would allow me space, but it would still not give the amount of praise this place and the owners deserve. The home is Beautiful! The attention to detail...More
Why would I title this review "mixed feelings" while rating it excellent? Because the more "excellent" ratings Dave and Brenda receive, the harder it will be for my wife and I to find a vacancy the next time we visit.
Seriously, you would think Dave...More

I don't think Skaneateles has a formal traditional beach for swimming - but I may be wrong. I would call Lady of the Lake and ask them. As for swimming, the lake does have a reputation for being among the cleanest of the all the Finger Lakes, but last year they did have some algae issues from what I understand. Again, call Lady of the Lake - or even the Chamber of Commerce for accurate answers. But it's a wonderful very romantic place for an Anniversary regardless!
