The Latch has an excellent location right next to the village and the beach. The accommodations are well decorated. The grounds are spacious with the occasional deer family wandering through. Jackie, the manager, was superb, a truly gracious host.

Stay far away from this place. I have never smelt a stronger smell of mold and mildew in my life. The shower and bathrooms were LOADED with mold. The sinks and tub were RUSTY. Paint chipping off all the walls and tiles (not sure who...More

We stayed in the cabana loft rooms...first off some of the reviews are a bit hard...the property is in transition and until such time part of the property is in use and the rest not...but to us it is a little of a walk back in time when it was the place to be....the rooms are redone and the bathrooms are not...but clean and fine...hot water is all I care about....we did a lot of walking so I am not sure of the bike thing...but you are so close to town And a bike shop I am sure you can rent one....hope that helps...also very quiet....
