This is my beyond favorite place to eat! They have Indoor and outdoor seating, a bar side and a fancier side. If your lucky enough, you will see the spectacular sunset of the mountains! Melody offers snowmobile parking, which is great because a lot of snowmobiles come and their food is so good.

I feel bad about the people who left terrible reviews -our experience was nothing of the sort. Obviously ethnic, the first thing I worry about is getting murdered in my sleep by the local-yokels. I could not have been more wrong. World-class service, with a friendly local demeanour, they went the extra mile to accommodate everything we asked for. The...

We meet once a year to snowshoe & ski over a long weekend & always stay here. This is a quaint rustic Inn with spartan but cozy rooms. The views are spectacular. Each room has its own bath but no TV. There is wifi available through your the building. A continental breakfast, muffins, cold cereal, juice & fruit is available...

Today, my husband and I decided to take a ride thru the Adirondack Park, and go to dinner at the Melody Lodge, Speculator. THe service was great, the meal enjoyable, but did not appreciate have incoming dinners standing about our table waiting for us to leave, it made us think again if we would make the trip again to have...

We booked a last minute getaway here. I will be honest, I was a bit nervous and did not know what to expect. My boyfriend being very adirondack-y and adventurous was very excited to visit. Being his birthday I went along with it. Room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. AC worked great and after letting it warm up a...

The Melody Lodge has been around for over a century so it has retained it's charm . We have been going for lunch and dinner over the last 3 years and enjoy it every time. The food is consistently good with variety and prices within range for most. Service is very good but be prepared to wait during busy times....

Rooms clean, comfortable but not quiet until the dining room/bar closed. Free internet but no TV(a welcome change!). The gorgeous view while sitting on the front porch and the excellent food in the dining room make up for any inconveniences in the lodging.

Stumbled upon this gem as we searched for an authentic Adirondack experience, and we were not disappointed. This is a beautiful, historic little lodge just outside Speculator, with scenic views - inside & out. We were given spacious Rm 7, immaculate and peaceful, rustic yet comfortable. Beds were outstanding; we both slept extremely well. Evening sounds from the bar downstairs...

The Melody Lodge has always been my favorite place to eat for over 20 years. I have never stayed there and have been wanting to try it. My husband and I were there for 2 nights in Aug. First thing I noticed was no TV in our room. At least an air conditioner, so that helped with the heat. We...
