I stayed for two nights at the Marriott for business at the Hofstra Medical School. The hotel was conveniently located to that school. I flew into LaGuardia and ended up paying over $100 for an Uber since they were on surge pricing. I got to the hotel late and it was difficult to find the entrance which is under construction....

As you stated, we are undergoing a major renovation and just last week reopened our "new" lobby and front entrance, so the next time you visit us I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised.

Dependable Marriott Hotel. Comfortable bed, good wifi, nice sundries, on site restaurant had nice selection and was able to handle the crowds. The gym is nicely sized, has great equipment, 2 racquet ball courts, swimming pool, and hot tub. Plenty of parking and close to freeway.

We stayed here one night after entertaining clients from the U.K., and enjoyed some drinks and appetizers at the bar. Marriott, Uniondale is under renovation so there's temporary walls, parking, etc. and I thought it would be an issue, but it wasn't. The place is really nice, and location is unbelievable. Our room was really spacious and the front desk...

The hotel was under construction- which would have been nice to know before check in.. concierge floor lounge was nice as were the people. Plenty of coffee, typical food for breakfast was a nice touch to have cocktail and dessert times too. Room was ok- updates needed but they are under construction!

It was our first trip to New York and we decided to stay in the Marriott as we were also going to be attending a conference in the hotel. The room we shared was an upgrade, as I wanted a little more space to potentially work in the hotel room at the night. The space in the upgrade was functional,...

Most of the staff was pleasant, terrible experience at the restaurant. No one acknowledged us, literally stared at us. We sat down and got the menu which consisted of about 3 salads and 3 burgers for choices. We had to leave and drive to eat somewhere else. Room was clean.

Older property, but they keep it up nicely. Undergoing renovations. We had the executive King with balcony and it was nicely decorated and very comfortable beds. Sheets were soft, towels were like sand paper. Matthew in the Executive Lounge was very helpful and friendly. Front desk somewhat unaccommodating until I escalated my concerns to manager, who was responsive. Restaurant buffet...

I've stayed here a number of times over the past couple months and have varying experiences. First, the hotel is very large and sort of dated. There is construction going on now to try and change that - we'll see what that does. There are a couple quirks that come with age - first DO NOT stay in the balcony...

Happy to be back to Long Island Marriott. Love: room with a balcony, comfort of bed, Thann toiletries and, most of all, breakfast (especially the omelette) and friendly serving staff at Prime Seasons - thank you all again! Renovation caused a bit of inconvenience but was understandable - so looking forward to a brand-new Long Island Marriott.

Here every year this time for a seminar, and never fails. Service is attentive, nice, and great. Rooms are clean, and beds comfy. Enjoy my stay here. Has nice banquet facilities, and a nice bar/restaurant.
