Where to start on the most incredible honeymoon! Paradise cove is literally paradise and if you are thinking of going - you should!! From the moment we walked in to the hotel after a long flight we were completely looked after and felt so relaxed! The staff at Paradise Cove literally can not do enough for you and everything they do they do with care! The rooms are beautiful, with gorgeous views of the cove. The beds are massive and very comfortable for a good nights sleep. The bathrooms are a highlight of the room with a double shower and double sink and mirrors with shutters opening on to the rest of the room! The tv shows the activities throughout the week which is really helpful when planning your days - although we done very little and decided just to relax for most of it! However, we joined in with the rum tasting which was great! The food and drink is incredible - we did not have one bad meal, the quality is outstanding. Breakfast is buffet style with the eggs and omelettes and pancakes being cooked fresh. The eggs menu is extensive with a personal favourite being the salmon eggs benedict! We ate lunch most days up at the Peninsula and we were stunned on our first day at the views and the a la carte menu. I think we just about ate our way through everything off the menu by the time we had left but our favourites were the tomato and burrata starter, the lamb kebabs, prawn kebabs and the pizzas! Our glasses were always kept full too! Dinners in the main restaurant are a buffet main and depending on the menu of the day you either have buffet starter and desert or order and it is brought to your table. The evenings are themed and all are fabulous. We particularly enjoyed the Indian buffet night - the flavours were out of this world! Again, our glasses were always topped up! We went to the peninsula twice for dinner which again was brilliant. We had the mixed platter and the meat platters and everything was cooked exceptionally! Deepak up at the Peninsula is utterly brilliant, he looked after us so well and we can't thank him enough. We met him on our first day and after that he made sure we were always looked after, it was a pleasure to get to know him! Another member of staff who went above and beyond to always make sure we were looked after was Michael - he looked after us with drinks during the day. He would bring everyone a bottle of water in the morning and take orders and then bring round cucumber for your eyes. He works tirelessly!! We would often go to the stay bar before dinner and again Ashna would always greet us with a lovely smile and conversation about the day and keep our drinks flowing before and after dinner! She is the sweetest lady and works so hard! The spa is definietly worth a visit, all the staff are so welcoming! We went for our couples massage which was lovely and beautifully set up so that you enjoy it together. I also booked in to have my nails redone - Juliana paid so much attention to detail! She was meticulous and was possibly one of the best manicures I've had! There are so many other members of staff that desrve a mention such as

Very delayed in writing this review as we had our honeymoon at the end of April 2022, but just wanted to share our experience & stay. My husband and I stayed for 10 nights half board - we are not big drinkers/ often find when it is hot that we do not eat that much during the day so this worked for us. There is a massive supermarket about a 10 minute drive or 25 minute cycle away where you can get some snacks should you need them. We had all of the intentions of going on day trips throughout our stay, but the hotel was so wonderful, relaxing and had so many things going on that we didn't really need to leave. In terms of activities there are water sport activities you can hire for free, we did kayaking and paddle boarding. There are also snorkelling tours & glass bottom boat trips which leave from the hotel and go out to the reefs that surround it, these are free and just require you booking at the water sport hut. We did both of these and really enjoyed our experience, I saw a sea turtle whilst on the glass bottom boat. We hired bikes to cycle to Grand Baie, helmets and a bike lock are provided - again this was free. We also made use of the tennis courts - these are free and it is free to use the rackets but there is a charge for the tennis balls. These are brand new and you get to keep them afterwards. There was also yoga and archery that could be completed, but we did not have enough time to do this with all of the other things we were doing. We also hired a car through the hotel for two days of our trip so we could venture out. The hotel offers a really good rate and made the whole process really simple, the car was secured in the car park whilst we weren't using it and the hotel dealt with calling them for us. As a part of our honeymoon package we had a cocktail making session, cookery demonstration and candlelit dinner at the cove. All of these were really enjoyable and particularly the cocktails and cookery demonstration gave us an opportunity to meet some of the other couples staying here. We also paid to complete the rum tasting (I believe this is free if you are all inclusive) and had an opportunity to taste the lovely rum Mauritius has to offer. The spa was amazing. Although quite a lot of mosquitoes around the spa pool, so spray spray spray with deet. However, the spa pool area was probably one of my favourites given how quiet and peaceful it was. I had a facial treatment which was probably one of the best I have ever had, the treatment room was so relaxing as it was partially open so the birds were swooping in and out. We also booked a couples full body massage which took place on the beach, overlooking the sea. I just wished we could have done it every day! The food was delicious. My husband is vegetarian so we mainly stuck with the main dining room and the pavilion restaurant. The menu in the dining room changes daily and is themed, some days it was a buffet style and others table service. The food was all delicious and my husband found there was a really good mixture of vegetarian options for him to try. The breakfast was also delicious, a really good mixture of hot and cold food to try. The drinks we had were also lovely, a good range of cocktails and mock-tails, and all of the beers/wines and soft drinks you could want. The hotel rooms was beautiful. There is a cleaning service that comes in every day and a turn down service every evening. Sometimes you got left little chocolate treats which were always a wonderful treat to come back from dinner to. The toiletries were all the same that were used in the spa, there is shower gel, shampoo and conditioner so you do not really need to bring any yourself. The air conditioning was very welcome and the beds were super comfortable. All of the hotel rooms look out over the beach so everyone gets a nice view from their balcony/ terrace. There are three pools (not including the spa pool) around the rest of the hotel. 1 for laps and two for general swimming/ dipping in and out. The hotel also has its own private beach/ access to the sea. There is plenty of seating/ loungers and lots of seating. Lots of the seating is positioned in pairs, separate from others so you felt as though you had your own privacy which was really nice. Each seating area also had a button so you could order drinks to your seats too. Last but by no means least, the staff. Every staff member we came across was friendly and accommodating. They remembered who you were, asked about your day and went above and beyond for you. The lady who ran the gift shop as well (sorry cannot remember your name) was so kind and funny. There is nothing negative to say about anyone who works here, everyone was so professional. Overall we really had such an enjoyable time. Often we try not to go back to the same place if we visit again so we can explore more, however, we both agreed we would 100% love to return back to Paradise Cove if we ever travel to Mauritius again.

For me it is a very cosy, quiet, welcoming and romantic hotel. Amazing. The view from the room was outstanding and the spa was excellent with a warm welcome, relaxing massage and excellent hamman. The infinity pool with its outstanding view over the turquoise, silver blue sea was amazing. Food was outstanding and staff make this hotel superb. They are professional and kind but give you space and time as well. Superb training which we could see going in all the time. Thank you Indira and amère for your kindness in particular. Also superbly maintained gardens - breathtakingly beautiful.

Paradise Cove is truly a paradise. Located on the north end of Mauritius, it is not as “touristy” but close enough to areas you can explore. I have never encountered staff who are genuinely there to make you happy, without expecting anything in return. Paradise Cove staff provide top-notch service. For example, when you are laying out by the pool/cove, staff will bring refreshments around. One day they even brought slices of cucumber to put over your eyes! If you want to go explore, staff will secure a cab for you. The food was incredible. The main dining area has themed dining each night and we really enjoyed it. The other a la carte restaurants are great, too. On our last night we went to Xo for a lobster feast and it was delightful and the service was out of this world. The pools are great. We loved the one overlooking the ocean. The one by the dining area is great, but doesn’t have much of a view. The heated pool is not very warm. I wish they had a jacuzzi! The spa service is awesome. They have a wide range of services. The funniest thing was that they give you disposable underwear to use for your massage session. The rooms are beautiful. All rooms on the first floor have direct access to the pools/cove, which is very convenient. The entrances to the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors are on the back of the buildings but they have a view of the cove. Resort pets? You will notice that there are a lot of stray dogs on the island which broke our hearts. We befriended a dog and a cat that seem to live on the property. We never asked for their names nor confirmed if they are officially their resort pets, but we named the dog “Maurice” and the cat “Kitty.” I may have given them some of my food because they are lovely and well-behaved. Maurice is really good about staying below the dining area but will follow you around other places outside. Kitty does come to the deck and terrace of the dining area. The only downside is that there is no beach access so if you are envisioning walking on sandy beaches that are right outside of your room then this is not the place for you. Also a minor detail but the drinks and desserts could be improved upon, but this did not affect our experience. If we ever return to Mauritius we would be happy to stay at Paradise Cove again.

Smart and stylish luxury with understated elegance As a young, gay couple on honeymoon we were warmly welcomed into this grand yet elegant hotel and gardens. Imagine a white, sprawling mansion with terraces, immaculate gardens, dramatic swimming pools, little private corners and cabins and a stunning cove. The staff were friendly and warm; the food the best we have ever had on holiday; the grounds interesting, with secret pathways leading to hidden viewpoints and seating areas. This hotel is exceptional and a great base for a short or long stay. We did a day trip to Grand Baie by taxi (and immediately were yearning to return to Paradise Cove) and combined this trip with a stay also at Lux Grand Gaube a ten minute car drive away. Paradise Cove was by far the understated, classy and chic superior. Highly recommend - especially as all the different areas of the hotel make the stay varied as each day you can position yourself and take in a completely different type of holiday. We loved it - 100% and five stars to you!

We stayed at Paradise Cove for our honeymoon and had just the best stay. The hotel is beautiful, in the way it's decorated, the well kept gardens (the flowers displayed each day in the outside bowls - a lovely touch) and the stunning views overlooking the sea and nearby islands. We ate at all of the restaurants and the food was faultless. The Indian evening in the main restaurant was a great night - with an amazing band and excellent singer. We particularly loved the cove restaurant as it felt so special overlooking the cove. This was included in our honeymoon package - we booked our stay direct on the hotel website through emailing the hotel rather than through another website. We also booked in at the sushi XO a couple of times because we couldn't resist, it was so tasty. The service has always been great and everybody who works at the hotel is so warm, friendly and accommodating. It's the little touches like the gentleman who came round to clean sunglasses, brought fresh juices and offered guests cucumber for our eyes to relax. In terms of activites, stargazing was a great experience, we had a sailing lesson which was included and would definitely recommend the day trip on the pirogue boat. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!

Can't rate this place highly enough. Visited for our honeymoon and the hotel and staff made it truly special. Staff were so attentive to everyone. Food was amazing. We would highly recommend the XO sushi restaurant. Lots of extra activities and amenities e.g. Sailing, Kayaking, Spa, Tennis, Stargazing etc. We rented the pirogue for the day as well and had an amazing beach bbq. 3 pools and private beach as well. Thank you so much for making our honeymoon so special.

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise cove. From the moment we arrived we were starstruck about the view and setting of the hotel. It’s very romantic to say the least and exactly what we were looking for to have our wedding. Thinking about the service and staff, there only one thing that comes to mind: let me cater to you. They go above and beyond every minute of the day to make you feel special and fulfill all you wishes. Including on our wedding day, everything was perfectly organized so we could only enjoy the moment. Paradise cove has everything you need to have a perfect holiday: sun, lots of activities, fun excursions and delicious food. We want to thank the hotel for this great experience and everlasting memory. Special thanks to our wedding coordinator Ophelie and Deepak, Ashna, Kriti, Jonathan, Amadee, Manoj, etc. to make our stay even more memorable. We hope to come back one day!

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at this outstanding hotel. We never usually opt for a high luxury hotel but as it was a very special occasion we thought we should treat ourselves. Safe to say it was the best decision we made. We opted for all inclusive and it was worth every single penny, the frozen strawberry daiquiris are delicious especially when sat on the beach. The food is the best we've ever eaten, absolute seafood heaven! My husband has never liked sushi before but after dining at XO (sushi) restaurant he is converted and we visited the lovely restaurant twice during our stay. There isn't a single thing we tried at the hotel that wasn't delicious. Despite a few rain showers (which quickly cleared up) we wouldn't change a single thing. The views are surreal especially at the peninsula. The staff cannot do enough for you, they are extremely attentive and friendly. Our flight wasn't until the evening, however, we were allowed to use all facilities and accessed a small shower cabin until our taxi came to pick us up. I would strongly encourage anyone to visit this beautiful hotel. Such a treat and enjoyable honeymoon, we will look back on our visit with the fondest of memories.

A honeymoon nothing short of perfect. We have had the most incredible week at Paradise Cove, from the moment you walk into the hotel everything is breath taking. Delicious cocktails on arrival and friendly staff after a long flight is most welcoming. The food has been out of this world, every meal we have thoroughly enjoyed. We really enjoyed a candlelit dinner at The Cove restaurant. The cocktails have been incredible and I have enjoyed sampling a range of them, the music in the evenings at the Stay Bar was most enjoyable. The staff can not do enough for you, so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is extremely clean, the grounds are well kept and everything looks perfect. The decor is so lovely. The pool space and sun loungers are wonderful, there is plenty of space to sit and it feels so private. The hotel is quiet and relaxing. The rooms are beautiful and you can tell all the efforts go to making it environmentally friendly. The hotel offers to many personal touches that make it a 5* experience. We also enjoyed the water sports the hotel has to offer and the glass bottom boat trip. We can’t thank Sandhya (front office manager) for doing everything possible to ensure we had the most incredible week. We will never forget our time here and highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you.
