Looking for an escape from the city, we came across Dalmore Guest Farm. We could not have asked for a better suited spot in the country for our family break. The accommodation was comfortable and homely with a rustic twist. Our daughters were only too happy to run free, climb trees, swim and play on the jungle gyms in a...

Staying at Dalmore was a truly unique experience, the cottages and surroundings were wonderful, just as a farm stay should be, the sheep nearby overnight, other animals not far away and such wonderful space and views. The swimming pool was excellent and much needed to cool off in the extreme heat which the whole of the country was experiencing. The...

First of all its a working farm. Mobile signal is poor to none, but absolutely PERFECT if you just want to get away from the daily hustle and bustle of city living. Perfect if you have kids, there's so much space and freedom. Awesome to see kids just enjoying themselves on their bikes. Waking up to the sound of sheep...

After many hours spent in the car exploring the Midlands Meander we arrived at our resting place, Dalmore Guest Farm, for the night and was surprised at the "picture perfect postcard" of a working farm that lay before us. The owner's love for old farm machinery and interesting art pieces dotted around made the farm appear as if it had...

We were away on a Mountain Biking weekend and were welcomed with arms wide open by Pippa and her family. What a truly memorable experience and we will be back in no time at all! Dallier Farm is situated just outside Bergville and is in the heart of the Drakensburg. Whether you want a relaxing weekend away or an active...

Beautiful and comfortable cottage in a farm setting with wonderful owners and staff. No other cottage on our multi month trip through SA has come close. Wished we could have brought the cottage with us on our trip!

Rather than dropping ourselves straight into a Safari from our 16 hour flight, we decided to chill out for a few days in the Drakensburg Mountains. Dalmore Farm was the perfect place, especially for families. The four children (12,11, 8 & 5) loved the place (trampolines, adventure course, zip line and swimming pool). Although our cottage was SC we went...

We had a wonderful, wonderful time at Dalmore. We were a large party of 2 couples and 2 families, staying for four nights. It is in a beautiful setting with mountains as a backdrop and nearby dams. It is in the Drakensberg area which makes for so many wonderful day trips from the b and b. Our host(s) Pippa and...

This place is so nice! We stayed here for two nights to visit the Drakensberg area and though the weather was not in our favor we had a great time. The farm is located some 6km off the road between Winterton and Bergville (those are the closest villages) and located beneath a small stream. The farmhouse us surrounded by smaller...
