The rooms have been upgraded since I was last there. Comfortable beds and rooms. Great views and scenic, easy walks. The coffee and sugar and tea weren't replaced daily. Ate at the restaurant daily for our 2 night stay. The food was good, not exceptional. Recommended for families with children where self catering is important. Lots of activities for the kids that are willing to participate.

You cannot pay R3360 per couple per night to stay in these old & poorly maintained units. At these cost you would expect top quality accommodation. Total rip off, no value for money, there is no comparison as to what we paid and what accommodation we received

Dear Mr. Bedford Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns with us. Please allow me to personally apologize for any inconvenience caused as a result of the below standard unit as mentioned. It is always our most important priority to ensure our guests receive the comfort and standard they pay for and what is expected from a 4 star graded Resort. It is clear reading through your review that we were not able to exceed your expectations nor create a memorable experience. It is further important to me to understand your concerns in more detail and exactly our shortcomings which resulted in your poor review of our Resort and specifically our accommodation units. At Alpine Heath Resort we pride ourselves on going the extra mile for our guests and it is important that we create those moments of magic. It was further reported to me that Empress Makhubeda, our Front Office Manager was constantly in contact with you after she managed to move you to a more acceptable chalet at the time. Mr. Bedford, please allow me once again to apologize for the sub-standard quality received at our Resort. The cleaning issues reported to Empress have been discussed with our Executive Housekeeper and Maintenance team. Improved inspection protocols have been implemented to ensure the delivery of better cleaning, quality, and standards. We will be in contact with you personally to discuss the disappointments you raised and we hope to welcome you back to Alpine Heath Resort in the near future. Kind regards Gawie Nel General Manager

We stayed at Alpine Heath as part of a group that rented three units. The scenery is lovely. The units are however very run down and needs a refurbishment. The breakfast is excellent and was the highlight for the children every day.

Dear Shweet100 Thank you for your recent visit to Alpine Heath Resort and your review of our facilities. Your comments are very important to us and assist us in delivering a better service and standard in future. Our maintenance programs in keeping the units up to standard are continuous and ongoing. I further would like to inform you that we have a plan in motion to secure the replacement and soft upgrade of the units on a monthly basis. This is however a huge undergoing and will take time to complete. The refurbishment plan will stretch over a period of 5 years intensely looking at much-needed pressure points in the chalets and will address immediate or high priority concerns first. Once again thank you for your review and please stay connected by following our social media platforms for more information about the planned soft refurbishment being rolled out. We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Alpine Heath Resort in the near future. Kind regards Gawie Nel General Manager

We had an amazing weekend getaway with Tourvest!!! Thank you for al the spoils... The food and sights were momentous. The hotel staff extremely friendly. The Be spoilt spa was disappointing, the actual massage and cost was not worth it, however the staff friendly. All in all an excellent time spent with friends and clients.

My Wife and I were staying at a nearby resort and decided to have lunch at the Alpine Heath Restaurant. The staff were all friendly, right from our arrival at the gate. The waitresses were very welcoming, super friendly and we received fantastic service from them. They sanitized our table thoroughly when we arrived, something we have noticed falling by the waist-side in most other restaurants.Aha clearly takes their staff training very seriously which is uncommon nowadays. Even the security guards were very professional and helpful. We had the chicken burgers for lunch...one of the best burgers we have ever had! We then decided to order dinners for take away, the ribs with veg and the steak and veg. Both meals were amazing. Well done to the chef, kitchen staff and waitresses,
