Spent a few days from 27 April to 1 May 2021 at this beautiful resort. The staff are super friendly and absolutely accommodating. The entertainment was great. The spa was fantastic. The meals at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was outstanding. A special shout out to Kareem, Andile and Speedy. Well done 🙌🏽

Been going to Alpine Heath for years and will continue to go there, because of the joyous and welcoming feeling one gets on arrival. Stayed at chalet 4 as always, chalet was immaculate. Enjoyed all the fun and activities arranged over the weekend and Muzo pub most enjoyable. Breakfast and dinner most enjoyable.

We stayed at the alpine heath chalet 87 over the long weekend, when we arrived the chalet was far from the carpark and taking luggage etc down was a mission. When we got to the chalet I was surprised because it says 4 star on the website and to me it looked like it is a 2 star. The kitchen is old and had a bad odour. The stove doesn't have an extractor above and the table in the kitchen is outdated. The lounge had cobwebs and spiders on the ceiling and the curtains were dirty. The beds are uncomfortable and so are the pillows. The bathroom shower head was broken. The ensuite shower drain was clogged and the toilet seat was broken. This is definitely not a 4 star chalet and I feel that I paid way to much for the stay.I specifically chose this place because it said 4 star and what we got

Dear V1867YNsues Thank you for the review of your recent stay at Alpine Heath Resort. Please allow me to sincerely apologize for the sub-standard level of service and quality you and your family received during your stay over the long weekend. Your comments are very valuable to us and will assist in ensuring a better quality product going forward. I would like to address the quality of our chalet interiors with you and would like to note that all our chalets received a soft upgrade over the period 2018 -2019. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, further upgrades were not possible. We are however in a process of planning further short-term upgrades to part of our units starting over the next six months. Most of the issues listed in your review pertain to maintenance and cleanliness and please be assured that I will have a closer inspection of unit 87 to determine the current quality of stay and get the issues resolved soonest. We have created a multitude of magical moments at Alpine Heath Resort and by being a very popular Resort it is important to myself and my TEAM to get the experience to that of a 4 star level. Thank you for sharing your valuable comments and again please accept my most sincere apology for the discomfort you and your family experienced. I hope to make contact with you soon in giving feedback as to how we resolved the issues in chalet 87 and we hope to welcome you back to Alpine Heath Resort in the future. Kind regards Gawie Nel General Manager

We booked this resort for a 3 day family getaway just after Easter 2021. We all enjoyed the beautiful views and nature there - simply amazing. The self catering units were great too, we enjoyed doing braais there. The kids had a absolute great time, we did some horses riding which they enjoyed a lot. There's a Bar for the evening drinks and a coffee shop we used for breakfast with fantastic staff. All in all a super experience.

Booked a year in advance and to say the least, the units are old, tired and filthy. Spider webs on desk lamps, dried milk inside mugs and dust on linen. Cleaning staff did not even have a scourer that they use to wash dishes, they use a swab. Some staff are really nice and try their best to make your stay memorable, I think because they are aware of the issues. Units are small, not suitable for 6 people and we were 3 adults and 3 kids and felt very cramped. Tables wobble, fridge stinks and the microwave rusted on the inside. I think that back in the heyday, this facility was no doubt a great place, but today, no so much. And to top it all, I was at reception when a man walked in and was greeted by the the staff, they did not get a reply, later I found out it was the manager of
