A wonderful spot on the edge of the Great Rift Valley and convenient for visiting Lake Manyara National Park. Last visited here about five and a half years ago and delighted to find the food and standards of service as good as ever. The poolside bar has one of the best views and evening entertainment. Next morning was even better...

Views from the infinity pool, eating area and lodges all overlook Lake Manyara national park which is very beautiful. Towels are provided by the pool, and many of the birds come down to drink/wash in the pool which is nice to sit and watch in the sun. A great place to relax while on safari. The lodge was really quite...

We recently stayed at the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge as part of a Vantage Travel safari tour in Kenya and Tanzania. The lodge is situated on a cliff overlooking the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara and the Lake Manyara National Park. The lodge has an "infinity" swimming pool that also overlooks the valley - most impressive! The lodge itself is beautiful,...

This is our last stop in Tanzania and it was very relaxing. Every villa contents 4 rooms and they are very spacious. Grass is used a lot in the hotel decoration especially the bar and lobby which makes them stylish. Choice of food is limited.

The room is nice and spacious, and in the morning when you wake up go to your patio and you will see baboons enjoying them self. The view from our balcony was to die for especially during the morning sunrise The infinity pool has a great view. After a long drive from one park to another the room give you...

Our group had twelve children from an orphanage dining with us, and the staff couldn't have nicer. These children had never eaten out before or had seen a swimming pool. We were treated to acrobatic entertainment before dinner at the pool, and the evening ended with a cake. There were smiles all around for our whole group. The staff made...

The access road is very poor, the view across the Rift Valley is great, the pool is very welcoming, the rooms a long walk from the hotel facilities. The beer was cold and food hot but sparse, the serve size could be improved upon. The staff are great nothing is too much of a problem.

We stayed at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for one night during our honeymoon. The hotel has a breathtaking view over Lake Manyara, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly and nice. The gardens are very beautiful and you can feel the wildlife just nearby, there are many squirrels and we also saw a baboon just by the...

This is a very lovely lodge with very friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and spacious and had a lovely view across Lake Manyara. We loved the earthy, curved design of the accommodation and restaurant/bar areas. Dinner and breakfast were of very high standard and again we had lovely views of the garden whilst dining. The pool side entertainment...

Very good and peaceful hotel. Extremely friendly staff. But... No Buffet? And no drinks on the house? Very strange, and that really was a huge disappointment. Other than that, hotel was pretty good. All in all, I would recommend the hotel to anyone but not more than a night.

Taking as its muse the glorious bird life of the fabulously soda-encrusted and pink flamingo-fringed...Lake Manyara, the swooping curves of this elegantly evocative lodge defy description.
