An absolutely amazing introduction to a Safari. You are met from the airstrip within the Game reserve by one of the guides who takes you to this small but rather exquisite location. We were greeted by the team and Emma and George who provided a very warm welcome. The tents are absolute luxury with all the amenities you could require....

As a family of four, with 2 children (9 and 7 years), we spent five fantastic days at Siwandu. Besides the amazing experience of open vehicle safari in Africas largest game park and living in luxury tents with animals grazing outside the tent, the service level and hospitality from staff exceeded our wildest expectations. From early morning wake up call...

We spent 3 nights at Siwandu as a family of 4 over Christmas and we could not have had a better time. The camp itself is beautiful, situated in the heart of the wilderness of the Selous with extremely comfortable tents and lovely views. The food also was superb with even a full Christmas dinner on Christmas day- Yorkshire puds...

I spent five nights at Siwandu and it is such a great experience! I would like to say thank you to George and Emma. We received a warm welcome from them when we arrived. Both of them explained everything to us very well. After each day before the dinner time, George and Emma will come to the dinning area to...

The camp offers probably the most comfortable accommodation we have experienced on a safari and first class food with a friendly and competent team. (We visit the Mara/Serengeti 2/3 times p.a.). Unfortunately the game viewing experience was disappointing. My sense (hopefully I'm incorrect) is that there is too much emphasis and reliability on waiting for animals to drink at the...

For the rest of our holiday, in other venues, I remembered our accommodation at Siwandu with affection. We were there when it was HOT and the fan over our bed was pure delight!! This was a very memorable camp for other reasons. We were greeted so warmly and with such a positive attitude, toward the needs of my wildlife photographer...

Beautiful location along the shore of Lake Nzerakera, really comfortable private suites/tents with full facilities under a thatched roof for shade, exceptional service especially at mealtimes and out on game drives. A wonderful place to stay while exploring the wilderness of the Selous game reserve.

Where do we begin.....an amazing place which for us was the start of our honeymoon. Emma and George ensure the camp is run to perfection (even assisting with a toothpaste supply that I had forgotten!). The lodges are perfect with every detail thought of and to wake up in the morning overlooking the lake is just incredible. Our personal butler...

Siwandu is a delightfully small camp with only 13 luxurious tents which are well spread out to offer maximum privacy. A particularly attractive feature is the outdoor shower where you can watch giraffe wandering past just over the wall. Each morning we gazed out on our regular visitor group of Impala grazing between our tent and the lake. The staff...
