The lodge was in a fantastic location overlooking Kazinga Channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. The bathroom has a "long drop" but was very clean so no problem for us although I am sure some people wouldnt like it. The bathroom was outside which was really nice. You have to tell them you want a shower but it...

Overlooking Kazinga Channel with the world's largest concentration of Hippos and if you're lucky Hippos will come and visit. Lovely clean "tents" with composting toilet. Outdoor shower with hot water if you ask in advance. Meals outdoors with lanterns. Only problem mattress is as hard as plywood. I checked and it is not plywood.

A hotel from Nature Lodges net set on the edge of the Kazinga Channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Rooms at the hotel are characteristic of natural wooden elevated terrace and wood off the ground. And tents which are elevated on a concrete surface. The tents are located on the side facing the canal. The amount of hippos...

By the edge of the channel and in the park Bush Lodge is in a great location. It is also a great Eco lodge and the immediate impact is limited and you feel it could be removed with limited impact, very well thought out. The food is great and for vegetarians they covered really well. The best thing is the...

We stayed here two nights. Arriving hot and sweaty after a long drive from Kampala. Presented with fresh juice, cool flannels and buckets of staff kindness. Real attention to detail here - including escorts at night to and from our bandas in case of wandering hippos whom you can hear all the time haw hawing from the lake. A great...

Thank you Bush Lodge, we had a lovely time! It was our daughter's birthday and the Lodge gave her a lovely experience - dinner in the open, with a camp fire and even a birthday cake with Happy birthday sung by the staff. We were able to see so much wild life in the park; leopard, elephants and even a...

We were able to book and pay online, which provided for a better experience. We felt the price was worth the value of our stay. The tents were comfortable, and able to accommodate an extra mattress so our children (5 & 7 yrs) could stay in the tent with us. The tents did get hot in the afternoons, making it...

Perched above the Kazinga Channel, you can hear the hippos bellowing and chatting just below you ... on through the night. Very exotic. The tent cabins are very clean and nice and the quaint outdoor showers are wonderful. The food is excellent and you are close to the wildlife drives, Mweya, and hundreds of elephants. The lodge is very safe.

My family traveled to Queen Elizabeth this past weekend to take my father-in-law n a safari since this was his first trip to Africa. I must say that I was incredibly impressed with the whole experience staying at the Bush Lodge. The food was excellent, especially the soups! The staff was amazingly courteous and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable,...
