I will begin by saying that by the price we paid for the whole week you can go 3 times to Argentina and be amazed by their good quality of service and low prices. Second of all, the way going up and down the mountain is really annoying and you will probably be sick due to the curves and high...

Some people are more sensitive to altitude than others, we are very sorry about the inconvenient this might have caused you. We always recommend checking Sky Centers high before traveling. Valle Nevado is located quite up at 3200mt high and sky runs as high at 3700 mt high. It is always good to be warned and bring some pill for...

I went with my wife and 1 year old son to Valle Nevado for a couple of nights during the low season (from Mid June-Early July) and the experience was just great. Because it was low season, I was lucky to book a room for two nights at a reasonable price in the fully renovated Hotel Puerta del Sol (in...

Thank you for the time you spent sharing your opinion, your comments are very important to us. Families with children can make use of the different activities Valle Nevado has just for kids, such us: Kids Zone, Nursery, Kids snow garden and our Bug´s competition just for the smallest ones!

As a family we really love skiing and we really enjoyed our ski-week last summer in Valle Nevado. The snow was excellent and we enjoyed mostly sunny days. The hotel isn't fancy but it's very confortable and clean, the food is excellent (and Chilean wines too) and the staff is very friendly. It's not cheap and several hours away, but...

As an American this is a good place to ski in off season. There was the US, British, and Canadian ski teams practicing. The place is not 5 stars. We stayed in the Hotel Valle Nevado, the "5" star hotel. The place is twenty years old and so is the entire interior. Compared to Portillo where we went 5 years...

We stayed at Hotel Valle Nevado, the top of the line hotel that claims to be 5 stars. I will start with the good- it is clean and the superior rooms are decently though sparsely appointed. The guy who works at the ski valet is awesome; he is friendly, helpful and efficient. Now for everything else- (1) Regular rooms are...

We went 2 years ago to Valle Nevado in late mid-season. It was very enjoyable as the ski area is vast, beautiful scenery. Our room in the more luxuious hotel was not booked as expected. This incident could have disastered our trip, but the staff was very helpful. We were given an apartment loft for 6 (we were just 2),...

After a 10 hour flight and a 1.5 hour excursion from the airport up the winding road to Valle Nevado, I expected to be carried from the shuttle to my hotel room at almost $700 per night per person. The hotel claims to be a five star hotel but I am not sure an Econo Lodge would have been an...

The whole service in this Hotel is trully bad. The food, cleaning, room heater, hot water supply and the staff is better in less expensive Hostel than here. Please find another place to come to Chile but not in valle Nevado. farellones is less expensive and defenetely much better by far.

Valle Nevado is modern and beautiful, but very small and definitely not worth the flight from the US unless you are 100% sure there is abundant snow and that all the lifts are open. We stayed at the mid-tier Puerta del Sol and it was overpriced considering the quality of the room and the food. The rooms were small and...

I love chile, I love Santiago. I wanted to try something different on this last trip, so i booked a trip to Valle Nevado. I stayed at Puerto del Sol. It was a nice hotel, but very overpriced. $10.00 for a glass of wine! YIKES! The food was horrible, but the staff was nice. There were a million kids running...
