From the outset this place is an adventure. If you're someone who needs air-con and fancy things, this isn't for you, however if you've an adventurous heart and are willing to trade electricity and creature comforts for being woken by an orchestra from the jungle then you're in the right place. Great guides, great food, hot, humid, jungle. Heaven for... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on a G adventures tour. The lodge is great - right in the middle of the jungle. You get a boat for about 2 hrs from Hell Port near Puerto Maldonado. There is no electricity in the rooms, but you get 3 candles. They recommend bringing a torch - bring a good one. I... More

We travelled by air to Puerto Maldonado, got on a 2 hour bus journey followed by a 2-3 hour boat journey to get here. Then we were pleasantly surprised to see the lodge and the accommodation - it really is quite comfortable ! We did have to shoo some frogs from our bedroom that night - they were small and... More

We travelled with G adventures which is a really nice travel agency. We had to take a 2 hour boat ride to get from Puerto Maldonado to the lodge. Every time our guides saw something the motocano stopped and we had plenty of time to watch the animals. At the lodge we had a night walk, caiman spotting at night... More

The Canadian company, GAdventures, books tour groups here; but the place is really Tambopata EcoLodge. They picked us up at the airport and provided storage for our stuff. On the whole, I was impressed with the accommodations (even tho' my roof leaked), the food, the staff, the guides. There was plenty of hot water for the showers, and vegetarian options... More

I can't say enough great things about this Lodge. The staff was excellent. We had an issue with a lock in our room and it was immediately taken care of for us. The kitchen staff prepared some delicious meals for the group we were with. The guides are excellent both knowledgeable and helpful. Our lodge was nicely cleaned every day... More

This was a much deserved rest after the inca trail and didnt disappoint at all. The lodge bungalows were spotless and well sealed off the creatures. plenty of towels and bedding with comfy beds. they are pretty open the the noises of the jungles and the elements but this all added to the novelty. excellent location for spotting wildlife and... I spent 2 nights here as part of a GAdventures tour of Peru. The accommodation is great - there are small wooden bungalows divided into two twin rooms. The walls are quite thin so you need to be considerate of your neighbours when moving around in your room, but this adds to the experience. The rooms do not have electricity... More

We had an amazing trip here as part of a tour of Peru. Elvis and Ronald were our guides and were just brilliant - funny and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our trips into the jungle seeing lots of different birds and wild life. On a night time boat ride we were lucky enough to see a Puma - both... More

We spent 3 nights in the rainforest, booked with G Adventures and this was definitely one of the highlights of the holiday! I think 2 nights may have felt too short as much of the first day is spent travelling and you leave after breakfast on the departure day. Everyone leaves together in the morning and we arrived to the... More
