My friend and I went to India for a holiday after 12 years and as a surprise visit to see my mother who was also there. We stayed at the Ramada Hotel from 4/3/2020 for a total of 7 weeks; one month of which was during Covid-19 lockdown, we were not allowed off the premises during this scary and stressful period.
The hotel staff were brilliant, in particular Naman, Suresh and Govinder who went out of their way to look after us during this very difficult time. They were always very friendly, efficient and kept us 9 remaining guests very comfortable. As guests were not allowed to leave the premises the staff also collected our medication, toiletries from the Pharmacy and fruit from the street vendors. They were absolute gems.
The hotel is spacious with good range of amenities (Health Spa, Swimming, Coffee Shop etc) but unfortunately these were not available to Covid-19 lockdown. Overall the decor is jaded, old fashioned and paintwork needed refreshing. Some things in the rooms did not work (i.e. mini fridge, lamps, TV sound) but the staff were quick in taking action. The air conditioning was a main issue because it could not be controlled from the room before or after the lockdown.
The quality and range of food was excellent before lockdown and the Chef still managed to produce good dishes even though food.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Senior Managers for agreeing to let us stay during lockdown and until UK arranged Repatriation Flights.
Overall, I would be more than happy to stay at the Ramada when I visit Jalandhar in future.

Thankfully my stay was only one night
Unique method of sending otp for u to get wifi password where the OTP does not reach you.
You comedown and ask for the wifi I'd password it will only support one device at one time
You ask for a bottle opener the answer is we do not give bottle openers in the room whenever you want to open a bottle call room service they will come and open the bottle.
The isicing on the cake.. buffet breakfast starting time 7 am to 10.30 am. The breakfast was not completely laid out till 8 am. People went to their respective rooms to get mugs to have their coffee, as only one junior staff (the poor fellow) wasanaging everything.

I stayed at the hotel with a group coming for work purpose. The stay was totally convenient, moreover - luxurious. The rooms are clean and furnished in modern style, with much of luxurious stone, equipped with all necessary appliances including set for ironing.
The restaurant is one of the high-ranking ones in the city.
Our group was professionally handled by Naman, who showed great managing skills, even organizing transport and dinner for us.
Thanks to the hotel team we spent perfect time.
The terrace on the building top is the place to relax after a long day, as well as the well equipped gym.

It was my business trip and my stay in his this hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay in this hard and tough time of covid-19 hotel rooms are being well sanitized. front office staff is very good specially Naman and Sunil are very helpful.

The housekeeping service took the towels out of the room every day and did not replace them so we had to keep calling to request towels and were declined or else told to wait until later. It seems as though there are not enough towels on the premises for the number of guests staying. We said we were happy to reuse towels but they kept saying "no, they're soiled" even though they often hadn't even been used yet, so strange. The floor in the room was dirty and was never cleaned throughout our stay. We stayed 4 days and housekeeping would call when we were getting ready to leave and asked to come back later but never would. Bins were changed and towels taken out but bed was never made up or floor never cleaned. Internet was non existent. Key cards worked intermittently, very frustrating to have to keep asking to be let into the room. Location was good.

I can’t expect such kind of responses from Ramada, Jalandhar. I am staying with you all since last 28 months but fray by day services are detouring.Need to improve service drastically from room service, kitchen, bathroom etc..

We were traveling from US and vising family in Jalandhar. We thought Ramada brand was somewhat known although we never stared there in the US. Given the limited options besides the local hotels, we booked a non-smoking room. When we checked into the room, it was full of smoke stink. The staff was kind to change the room when we shared the feedback but it took them a while to get us the new room. After a long journey, we were just sitting and waiting for our room to be ready and after 25 minutes, we were moved.
As we were unwinding into this new room, we saw a person walk by our balcony and we were all like, what? Turned out there was construction going on next door, and there was a big hole in the wall. The access point for workers were through our balcony. Instead of complaining again and waiting for another 30 minutes for a different room, we decided to manage our expectations. It would have been nice if we knew about this ahead of time. We had to close the curtains through our stay, felt like we were somewhere in the basement with no natural light.
The furnishing were as if someone armature assembled it. There was no way to know how the doors to the cabinets were to open, no knobs or area to hold the door to open, or which side the door will open. Although it was marked as a suite, the finish was of a low level motel. They only had to shower towels for a party of 3, no iron in the room and so on.
After we checked out, we were well on our way by the time I realized that I forgot my Airpods pro in the room. I called the hotel and they told me they will look for it can call me back in a few hours. I told them I can see the Airpods on my iPhone (find my device) to be at the hotel. After waiting for about 3 hours, I called back and was told they did not find it and accused me of leaving it somewhere else, not in the hotel. I can still see the Airpods pro in the hotel through find my device as of this writing – one week after we checked out and back in US now.
Meeting family in Jalandhar was the only high of our trip there, everything else was a disaster. Never ever would I stay in this Hotel in the future or recommend anyone to try it out.

They have membership and you can directly ask them. As without membership i think u won't be allowed to visit gym and wet area.

You need to bring any one of the Govt. authorised ID proof at the time of checking in. If both of you are staying together in one room, the person in whose name the booking is done, he has to produce the ID proof. The hotel front office people will make a photo copy of the same.
This is the rule which is followed in all Indian hotels as per Union Home Ministry directive for security reasons.
