We ended up in the guesthouse in behind the hotel. Lots of space. Seating area. Fridge. Modern bathroom. Good shower. Comfortable beds. Nice view from the balcony. We ended up paying 20 euros extra for this nicer room with a balcony view and it was worth it. The host was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of great choices... More

Jens and his family could not have taken better care of us during our 2 day and 2 night stay in July 2015. The rooms (especially in the higher building) are amazing. The breakfast and dinner were TOP NOTCH. The food and portion were great. The beer and wine were top quality. The quality of service (even for 4 high... More

Stayed there 2 years ago and were unable to get the same rooms at the time of booking. However on arrival we found that they had upgraded us to the rooms we'd had previously in the new guesthouse. Booked the discovery package which included 3 massages and an aromatic bath as well as a 5 course evening meal each night.... More

A very nice clean and lovely traditional typical gasthof in the mid of the black forest on the famous road 500.When going by touring the black forest it is certainly worth staying there for one night. We stayed in the Comfort double room, a spacious nice room.,very clean so was the bathroom. The room has a great view. We dined... More

Excellent family place right in the middle of the Black Florest. Great accommodation. Great food. Great service. And definitely a great view. When going by the Black Florest it is worth stopping by there one night.

The online pictures are quite impressive I must admit but the actual experience was something else. The hotel is rather traditional so there is no 24hr reception. Usually one person from the catering stays up until the last guest leaves but I felt each time the person staying up simply wanted to go home. Breakfast and the servers were very... More

Because it was nearing 2 PM when so many places stop serving, we stopped for lunch with no high expectations. The dining room was lovely with a "gemutlich" atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and spoke excellent English. At our request, she had one of the employees phone the owner of the apartment we were on our way to rent... More

Booked the Discovery Package for 4 adults in 2 of the larger rooms. We were put in the guesthouse just outside the main building on the 3rd & 4th floors in 2 massive double rooms with double balconies and views over the town. Rooms were well equiped with a good sized Tv, Fridge and the best pillows we have expereinced... More

We stayed one night (unfortunately) at this great little hotel in the Black Forest town of Bad-Peterstal. The room quality was exceptional with lots of little extras. The furnishing was good quality not the normal cheap finishings. Unfortunately we arrived a little late to really enjoy the hotel but the owners and staff were very friendly. The owner spoke good...
