Detailed Reviews
Fantastic stay at this hotel at the heart of europa park! Check in was simple, with staff speaking fantastic English!
The room was lovely and clean, with a lovely added touch of a fresh bowl of fruit in the room at the time of arrival.
The only downside was a lack of fridge in the room to store medications and food.
A Lidl is around a 5 minute walk from the hotel again a huge bonus when stocking up on snacks.
The breakfast was lovely, with a large variety of fresh local produce offered. The only downside to the breakfast was a lack of decaffeinated options available. The quality of the breakfast options and hot chocolate however made up for this.
Check out was very simple with a luggage room available to store belongings if you would like one last day in the park.

I rarely give away 5/5 ratings, but there is simply nothing to complain and staying at the resort next to the Europa park comes with three unbeatable amenities:
#1 free (!) last hour entries at the day of arrival where we were _very_ lucky: thanks to a rainy day the park was almost empty at the evening and so we could ride the big star attractions with no waiting time. THIS IS PRICELESS!
#2 Early access only for hotel guests. On the next sunny day, we could enter the park half an hour before the official time but only a few rides are open already. So it comes down to either head for for Voltron or blue fire. Since all hotel guests storm to these too, you have about 1-2 rides. The same applies to Rulantica, but that's subject to another review..
#3 garage parking: as mentioned before it was raining buckets when we arrived. But thanks to the parking house unloading was no big deal. And on next day: a scorching heat. But since the car was in the shade, I was even looking forward for my drive home.
Beside these points, the hotel has a very nice touch and a small pool for the kids to splash around. If I have to nit picking them I would say that everything is quite expensive. But that's comes with the style and vicinity to the park...

I'm guessing this is one of the older hotels, but I still enjoyed my stay. The doors are a little thin, for which reason they installed a second door, so it was more or less quiet aside from the occasional screaming child, which not even the best hotels can get rid of. We even had a Christmas tree.
Fantastic breakfast and worth it for the convenience!

We stayed at the hotel with a group of friends for one night and also had dinner at one of the restaurants. The hotel and room looked nicely in theme decorated, also staff was very friendly.
Unfortunately, the mattresses felt old and we were sinking in badly, plus our room was near the elevator which was quite nosy. So although first impression was fine, we didn’t quite get a good night rest at all. Which one kind of needs after a long day at the park..
Also, we had a dinner reservation and had to wait a long time in line (with little kids) to get seated. In the morning there was a fire alarm, we didn’t really realize it on time. Apparently some people went outside, others didn’t (like us) and there was no information given by hotel staff. Overall these aspects didn’t seem quite organized from the hotel side.
So we had a bit of a mixed experience and especially when looking at value for money I wouldn’t come back :(

Large queue for check in and check out, over charged and itemisation not provided, then denied it and ignored my follow up emails.
Hotel is crowded with random items that are a bit tacky, theming is very odd in and around the places. Rooms are cold and tired, especially mattress on the bunk beds. Rooms feel more like prisons with dark colours and hard floors. Sleep quality is poor due to constant running of fountains in the main quad area.
Shower and bathroom are nice.
Breakfast was chaos, food running out and not replenished quickly without having to ask the limited staff they have, areas too small for people to wait for toast etc. adequate selection of food and quality ok.
Access to europa park is good however still expect to queue to get in. The extra time you get in the park doesn’t really make much difference to queue times and only a few are open.
Not a welcoming hotel and customer service during and after was poor. I wouldn’t recommend or return.

+ excellent location next to the park,
+ you get 30min early access to the park
+ you get a last hour pass for your arrival day
+ the deco of the hotel is nice and quite authentic
+ the breakfast buffet is very good
+ room cleaning service was excellent
- the regular rooms are rather small
- the bathroom does not have a proper tub, is not lockable and the shower enclosure was not tight.
- our window faced another wing of the hotel less than 10m away
- there was no fridge in the room
- the closet was smelly and the locker difficult to access
- although they the setting is nice, the rooms don’t feel like 4*
- during early access time, most attractions are closed.
So overall it’s probably best to compare to staying at Disney on property. You mainly pay the price for the perks and have to think whether they are worth the premium over other hotels close by.

Beautifully decorated and a very well located hotel. This hotel served a delicious breakfast and was exceptionally child friendly. The decor was delightful and the rooms had bunk beds which was a highlight for our children. The park was in very close proximity. Lovely stay!

I have a hectic travel schedule. I travel domestically in the US and internationally to Europe several times each quarter. I was in Rust for World Hosting Days, which is a major conference and stayed at the Hotel El Andaluz. I wasn't expecting much when I booked the hotel I just wanted a clean room, internet access so I could work and a hot shower. I got none of these. The hotel told me to wait for internet, wait for hot water and wait for maid service. Seriously, none came. I was surprised that an event of over 4,000 people would support a hotel that put its high-end sponsors in a hotel that did not offer even hot water. We will not be back. We will not participate again. We will not recommend to anyone. There are too many opportunities in Europe and other countries with beautiful places and people to waste time at this event.

Just come back from a 1 night stay at Europa Parc. stayed at the El Andaluz hotel which for a big resort hotel was way better than we were expecting. Upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite which for 40 euros seemed good value at gave us loads more space. Cannot fault the room other than there was no tea/coffee facilities but other than that it was perfect. Service in the hotel was superb with very friendly staff who at full breakfast with a huge choice from heathly stuff to the full English!!!! As for the park itself I have to say that having been to eurodisney, disneyland and disneyworld the is by far the best with some great rides friendly multilingual staff at reasonably prices food. Perhaps it doesnt have the magic of disneyworld but the fack that everthing is in one area and there are numerious chioces of attractions for kids of all ages. Give this place a try, you wont regret it.

Enjoyed a one night stop over at the 4 star rated El Andaluz Hotel, part of the Europa Park Complex. High standard authentic spanish decor throughout, rooms very spacious and bunk beds for the kids.
Kids pool in Castillo Alcazar complex, small size but adequate outdoor pool in El Alcazar. Quality breakfast buffet served in the themed restaurants, all staff were very attentative at all times. A kids amiusement arcade and play area, park of the Europa Park stays open to hotel guests.
One advantage of staying here is that you get to go in the park half hour early before it opens to the public at 08:30. The park itself is beautifully landscaped and squeaky clean with a variety of rides to suit all ages.
All in all, I consider the standard of these hotels to be much superior compared to the Disney Paris hotels which I stayed in several years ago.
Avoid arriving at the park around 10am, cars were tailing back for miles as we were leaving the next day.
The 4 start superior Colloseo Hotel acorss the road is also a good choice to stay.

Non, mais la cuisine est bonne. Comme le disait un précedent voyageur ce sont des hôtels dont le cadre correspond "aux quartiers" du parc.
