We stayed for 3 nights in May 2019. Elisir B&B is located perfectly near most of the interesting places to see in Anacapri. Our room was large, cozy and very clean. Our host Elisabette is a beautiful girl, friendly and helpful. We shall come back!
What a great place to stay in Anacapri. Loved it. Great location. Near restaurants and shopping street. Close to taxis. Lovely rooms. Great breakfast. Very pleasant host. I have no hesitation in recommending Elisir B&B
I stayed at Elisir for 3 nights in June 2018 and my stay was perfect. Everything was spotlessly clean, the room was large, light, with lovely high ceilings a private balcony and the bathroom was modern. The breakfast was great and you have options of sitting inside or outside. I am a young female travelling alone so it was important to feel safe, which I did. Elisir is located just off of a road behind large gates and on the first floor so it feels very safe. It's a perfect location a few minutes from everything and easy to access, other friends staying in Anacapri had lots of steps to walk up or steep hills whereas Elisir does not have that problem. The true gem here however, is the owner Elisabetta who is so friendly, incredibly helpful and a true host who could not have been more lovely. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Capri!…
We stayed at Elisir for 3 nights in early June. It is located 2 mins from the central street in Anacapri and has restaurants cafes and bars even closer than that. It is an easy walk to the bus station, the chair lift and the amazing Villa san Michele, and there is an excellent bus service to the blue grotto, Faro Lighthouse, Capri town and marina grande. If you're feeling extravagant you can get a taxi in less than 3 mins. We thought that Anacapri was a great option for escaping from the tourist hordes in Capri town and has a local feel to it - very relaxed and friendly. It's also a beautiful town with plenty to do and some brilliant restaurants - there a few Michelin starred establishments very close to the town. The B&B itself is quite small ( I counted 3 rooms but I didn't confirm this) and is run by Elisabetta. It is beautifully decorated throughout and exudes calm immediately. Our room was spacious and airy (lovely high ceiling) with a big bathroom and tasteful, relaxing décor. Elisabetta is quite simply the most friendly and helpful host I have had the pleasure of meeting. Nothing is too much trouble, her advice was reliable and not driven by personal gain (a trait we encountered several times at other locations on our Italian trip) and the recommendations for restaurants were excellent - local Caprese cuisine is a must if you visit. She arranged a boat trip around the island for us and called us taxis on several occasions when we were in a hurry. I can't recommend Elisir and Anacapri highly enough - I'm not one for returning to places overseas as a rule but I'm definitely going back here.…
Our stay at Elisir B&B was lovely, our room was so cute and clean. The owner was very nice , always ready to help, and the B&B is located very close to Anacapri’ s city centre, so our stay was really comfortable. Unfortunately, we only stayed there for one night, but we wish we would’ve stayed longer.
Very friendly hostess, always ready to help and to answer your questions. The room we stayed in was very nice, clean, airco-fitted, a window cover against mosquitoes. The colourful mosaic in the B&B is a nice touch. Breakfast is lovely, homemade chocolate cake! The location of the B&B is quite central. Very close to AnaCapri city centre, you can take the bus (2/2,5 euro) to all other locations (Capri, Faro, etc). It seems close to a 'busy' road, but in the evening most traffic stops. We did not notice a thing and had a very good sleep!
Stayed 6 nights at the end of August. Great location with easy access to AnaCapri shops and restaurants. Nice double bedroom with modern bathroom and rain shower, and small terrace overlooking rooftops of AnaCapri. Elisabetta was very welcoming and helpful - a lovely hostess. Breakfast on her small terrace overlooking grapevines included delicious homemake chocolate cake (torte caprese) baked by her mother to a traditional Capri recipe. We really enjoyed our stay and AnaCapri is a great location with easy bus routes to Grotto Azzuro, Capri town, and walking distance to beautifull Villa San Michele and chair lift to Monte Solare. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Elisabetta for a lovely stay.
