Visited in July for a few days, was a great place to stay. The hotel is run by a very sweet family, the father even showed me around the grounds and let me eat fruit right from the trees. The breakfast was awesome, my room had a private patio that they brought my breakfast to every day, consisting of fresh pastries, fruits, and a boiled egg, plus a cappuccino; it was a great, relaxing start every day. It is located just a short walk from Anacapri, where most of the sites to see are. They were very helpful in suggesting things to do, including selling tickets at the hotel to boat tours (was a great tour) and where to go for dinner. The view from the patio was amazing. The have a small pool, I regret I was not able to go into it as I didn't have time, but it looks like a great place to relax after a long day. I definite would stay again, and would love to bring along my family next time.

If you are visiting the island of Capri, you should seriously consider staying at Il Giardino dell'Arte! Franco and his daughters made our visit amazing. They arranged pick up and drop off at the port. Franco also arranged a private boat to take us to the island spots (including the Blue Grotto) for a very reasonable fee. The grounds are beautiful, you are served breakfast with the blue sea spreading out before you. It feels like. paradise! We had a homemade ravioli and bruschetta dinner handmade by Franco's wife. Another fun aspect was that they have a fully stocked bar and will make you whatever you like and you pay at check out. The first time we took the bus to Capri it seemed intimidating but we were soon pros and got back. and forth quickly. Our room and the grounds were so pretty (and squeaky clean). The air conditioning was a god send in the July heat. Please visit, you will not be disappointed!

I brought my mother here for a mother and son trip this past September and we had an amazing time. The hotel is situated in Anacapri about a 7-10 minute walk to the piazzas nearby. The hotel was gorgeous, with tons of class and etiquette, much like the owner and his daughters. Franco and his daughters are very friendly and you can tell they enjoy what they do(living in Capri also has something to do with that I'd presume) and oftentimes will engage in conversation with you. On top of Italian, Franco speaks English, French, and Spanish which he used with us. They have a wonderful garden ripe with figs, pears, grapes, pears, olives, and tons of other varieties of fauna. The view from there gazebo is breathtaking and have each room lovely decorated in its own unique style. They have porcelain paintings lined on their walls as well as an individual patio for each room. Behind the hotel there's a path that will take you down the backside of the island to Grotta Azzurra which can take about 45mins-1hour depending on how fast you go. Would absolutely love to return and believe this is a perfect honeymoon destination. Les mando un abrazo Franco, a tu y tus hijas, hasta la proxima! -Armani Santiago/Ana Moreno

Long after one has left the hotel, memory remains of a very special place. Franco and his family take care of everyone. The bedrooms with their beautifully tiled individual terraces, the view of Ischia from the outdoor dining room, and the ample breakfast all make for a wonderful stay. A hidden treasure.

Great place with a very nice owner and staff. Location is very quiet with great views. The walk into town is about 10 min with some elevation increase. The breakfast in the morning was a traditional Italian breakfast that was fresh and very good. On our last day there - the staff insisted that we have breakfast there before we headed out - even though we needed to leave 30 minutes before they normally serve. They also made sure that got to the bus station on time. The owner also was a great source for tips on places to go and see during our stay. The room itself was clean and exactly as expected. Would book again.

Beautiful place, great hosts, amasing garden and sunset. Breakfast really big for Italy. We hadour own private terrace. They picked us from the bus station and took us back when we left. When we return to Capri, we will stay here for sure. Thanks for the experience.

I recently came back with my oldest son. Was impressed with the boutique rooms, views, garden, and pool. Franco and his daughters were kind and attentive, not to mention the rooms were clean. We travel quite a bit and have done so for many years, I don't like big chain hotels. I prefer to give my money to family owned businesses, the quality and service is always better. I love the views, the garden with fruits, vegetables, beautiful flowers and more. We were so happy, we also had breakfast outside with an outstanding view. The area is away from all the crowds and more with the locals. I definitely plan to return and 100% recommend it. Thank you Franco and daughters for a wonderful stay!

Family run house has beautiful gardens, terrace with amazing view and lovely decorated rooms. The place also has a jacuzzi. the owners are very lovely, they suggested us some good restaurants and even drove us to the bus station. breakfast is delicious (yogurt, fruit, cooked eggs, bread, sweets, and of course very good italian coffee) and is served on a terrace with a view. A must-try are cheese ravioli with tomato sauce made by owner's wife - best ravioli ever! The house is about 10 min walk to Anacapri center. This place is a good choice if you want to explore island Capri, as Anacapri is much cheaper, less crowded and in my opinion much nicer than Capri center. there are good bus connections from Anacapri to Capri town, Marina Grade and Marina Piccola.

everything was wonderful regarding our stay at Il Giardino dell’Arte: the property, the staff, the wonderful family and their tradition, the views, the gardens, the food (we had a wonderful sunset dinner on one of their terraces with home cooked ravioli)! Aurelia offered us great tips on where to eat, what to see, she picked us up, made reservations for us for dinner at Emilia’s and for taxis, overall we felt wonderful here and very welcomed!

We spent nine days at Il Giardino dell’Arte and loved it. This was the second time we have stayed there and we have already booked for two weeks next year. The garden setting is beautiful, with a huge variety of flowers and fruit trees. The weather in May was perfect for being outdoors in the garden or on the terraces. The town of Anacapri is easily accessible by foot, which is good because it would be insane for any visitor to consider driving there, even if tourist cars were allowed on the island, which they are not. And fortunately, Franco and family, who own and operate Il Giardino, have arranged with several local restaurants to pick up hotel guests for transport to and from the restaurants. It’s a great service and we used it several times. I don’t believe that this is the only albergo that has agreements like this with restaurants on Capri, but it is a convenient perk for guests here. Others can describe the activities on Capri and Anacapri, of which there are many. We used our recent stay at Il Giardino to recover from our covid-enforced isolation in midwestern America. It was a lovely stay, but the best part of the stay was reconnecting with Franco, Raffaella and Aurelia, the father and daughters who run the hotel. It seemed like they truly could not do enough nice things for us. They were so attentive to our comfort. Franco was never so busy with his chores that he couldn’t sit down with us for a conversation in English or French (He speaks five languages!). This is a dream location for us. I’d like to go back annually as long as I’m able. I promise you, you will not regret planning a stay at Il Giardino dell’Arte. Grazie mille Franco, Raffaella and Aurelia! Arrivederci alla prossima!
