We have been pleasantly surprised by this familyrun b&b. Very close to the Anacapri city center but still quiet and the best thing was the roof terrace with an amazing view on the sea, where you can sunbathe and make yourself a cup of coffee. Also the fridge with free cold water for all guests and the possibility to store some fruit, a drink, yoghurt etc on a hot day was really appreciated. Very recommended and for sure will return to this cozy place with nice owners. Lucia and Michael from Germany.
The room was spacious and clean. Modern decor and bathroom! The location was off the beaten path, which was a welcome change from the mobs of people throughout Capri. About 1 mile walk to the marina in Capri. The front desk staff was able to accommodate us in an emergency requiring late check-in, which was so appreciated. The rooftop views were great for bringing our own breakfast or wine and cheese!
What a genuine diamond of Hotel in Capri/Anacapri. I booked a room for my two teenage daughters and I well in advance of our stay on Booking.com. Unlike others, who I truly question that they weren’t the ones who made mistakes, we had an amazing stay while here. Great location, a few minutes off of the main path in Anacapri, about 5-7 minute walk from the Taxi/Bus drop off. BTW, from Marina Grande to Anacapri by Taxi $30 EU vs Bus $6EU. I met the owner just now, Raffale, who was literally checking out the roof for something. As in he is hands on. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern and amazing. Spend the evening/morning on the hotels’ roof and watch the sunrise and sunset. The photos don’t do justice.
I booked a room with sea view at this property through Booking.com 1 week in advance. The reservation was confirmed, so I booked my ferry transfers too. Once I arrived at the island, the dishonest owner suddenly canceled my reservation late in the morning. I promptly called him for an explanation and he said "there are no rooms left" despite my previous confirmed reservation. WHAT A SHAME! When I told him I got a confirmed reservation at his property for the day, he became agitated and said to me "come here, I will see if I can find a room elsewhere", so I replayed "I booked that room at that price, I got a confirmation!". After this he became very rude offending me on the phone and said to me to handle this with Booking and abruptly hanged up on me. I got my money back through Booking, but my day was a nightmare! I never had a problem with Booking before, hope they remove him and his property from there!! AVOID THIS PROPERTY!!! 0 STARS!!!…
If I could, I would have given 0 stars. Dishonest owner. My partner and I had a room booked one week in advance and when we arrived at the island we called them and we were told that they had 0 rooms left. The owner was very rude and asked us to short it out with booking. Very diasapointing...
This is a very cosy family hotel. It is located in Anacapri town. The rooms are on the first floor. On the second floor you will find a kitchen and a big terrace, furnished, and offering a good view to the sea. The cleanliness and the furniture in the room was perfect! You will find everything that suits your needs in the bathroom. It is regularly maintained. You can't cook in the kitchen but you can bring food from outside. There is a quick and fair connection between you and the owner. I recommend the hotel to everyone!
Pros: Very good value on Capri Island. If you are traveling on a non rock star budget, I would definitely recommend. The number one thing we loved about this place was the shower! Incredible water pressure! The A/C was very capable, and nice big doors made using it optional during breezy, or cooler times of day. Sky TV was a nice bonus, but not really there to watch TV. The shared terrace coffee bar was a nice place to eat a quite breakfast fresh at 0730 from Capri Cakes just a few minutes walk there and back. The owner was very flexible and helpful. If you have a question or need something make sure to call and ask (ie a hairdryer is available, but not left in every room). Cons: The location is nice, but I think the price reflects accessibility. It is a good little walk from piazza vittoria, particularly when arriving or departing if you have much luggage. The buses seem to be unpredictable and this stop is often passed by full buses when they do come. So, if you are not prepared to wait around, go to the main stop further up, or try to share a taxi as the will run 30 euro (but they are super cool! So none of this is a negative commentary on the property itself, just things to be aware of when selecting a much more affordable option. So if you are traveling light and don't mind a little extra cost in getting to Capri and Marina Grande, or you are willing to wait for that 2.50 bus ride, totally recommend this place!…
Lovely little bnb in a quiet part of town. The host was very helpful and the cleaner who was preparing our room was very sweet. We were able to check in 2 hours early and were given suggestions of things to do. The chairlift is nearby as well as the local buses to the blue grotto, Capri and the marina. Wish we had stayed here a few extra nights instead of Naples. Will definitely be back and will 100% stay here. The price is very very good and the rooms are so clean and fresh looking. Only critique is that we couldn’t get the wifi working but that is only a minor issue. Everything else is spot on. Highly recommend
